If the author would give us new management knowledge he has thoroughly failed. On one hand he emphasizes not designing recipes on the other hand you will find many of them in shape of insights you may find in each basic management textbook. Surely there are some special problems in establishing and developing start up enterprises but the most management work to be done you will find in masterly works of Mintzberg, Drucker and as an example for Germany the works of Fredmund Malik. I have the impression with this book a perhaps impressive biography should find something like an adulation. Certainly this work is no additional help beyond management books already in existence. It is not worthy to spend money for it.
