This time last year I was in great pain and I've just been diagnosed with IBS (Irritable bowel Syndrome) which is a syndrome that does not have a specific cure and depends from what you eat, mostly. In October 2011 I read this book as suggested to me from a friend of mine and my life has had a fantastic improvement in barely one month: IBS is gone and I feel strong and healthy again.
Don't get scared by the title of the book, "Paleo" is merely a label to summarize the concept behind this book, which is eating REAL food that is good for your body.
The author explains to the reader in a very easy and understandable way what is the deal with industrial food and what happens to our body if we base our diets on processed foods (pizza, pasta, sugary snacks and sweets) as opposed to natural food (meat, fish, vegetables and fruit).
The book is full of information, yet never boring or too difficult to read: the style is informal and very personal (Robb tells the reader his journey striving to find a healthy lifestyle that would fix his health problems) so it is a very easy book to read.
I had the paperback copy, and recently I also purchased the Kindle one, so that I could always have it with me to consult it if I have any doubts.
So, if you are even only a little bit curious about this "Paleo Diet" that everyone is talkign about recently, do yourself a favour and read this book. You will thank me for this advice! ;)
