This book provides a perfect overview over statistical graphical models. It is perfectly organized and the chapters are well written and relatively easy to understand. Depending on how deep you want to dive into it, it is quickly possible to just read the chapter introduction and get a broad overview about the topic or to work yourself through the chapters in depth. The only little drawback is that the book focuses mainly on directed graphical models. The undirected graphical models are also addressed, but not as exhausive as the directed ones.
