I read all three, one after the other, and could not get enough. I especially liked Sharp Objects, and the deep relationship the main character, Camille. Her very name seems to contrast her inner self, however calm and cool she remains on the outside. She is a loveable screw-up with a hard upbringing and an even darker family history. Readers can both relate to the various figures portrayed in Flynn's books..and get irrevocably riled by others!!
I loved reading her acknowledgements, too, as she wrote something along the lines of "I promise, Mum, one of these days I'll write a story in which the mother doesn't murder or get murdered!" Can't wait 'till her next novel comes out. I am, most certainly, a fan for life.
