Not worth the money
24. Oktober 2019
TLDR: lack of build quality could have been forgiven if the software wasn't atrocious (and no legacy support)
The keyswitch springs are very noisy, I've used mechanical keyboards in the past and this keyboard's springs are louder than the switches themselves (and I was using the clicky version!)
Overal build quality of the base was quite good, some minor minor flex but negligible. The ABS keycaps feel very cheap and the font isn't consistently placed unfortunately.
The software is the biggest nono however. Programming the keys work for everything except fn, caps and space.
- Space: When it's plugged in I don't need a constant reminder that it's charging. In fact the only time you want a notification is when your keyboard is at 35-25% battery or lower.
- FN is just NOT adjustable unless you download specified python software. I'm a programmer so I could do this but don't expect other people to start dabbling in 3rd party Python scripts.
- Caps: inconsistent and sometimes just not adjustable, if you switch modes and then switch back to your programmed config it occasionally just changed it's color...
But that isn't the worst: there's supposed to be software but it's nowhere to be found on their site. Only for v2, blademaster and tyrfing v2. Why would you outright delete legacy software when you still sell the product?
Don't buy this keyboard, it's bad in the short term and depressing in the long term.
