This books drags along endlessly. My kindle app tells me I have reached 37% of it before giving up. I admit the characters are different from the average lesfic too-good-to-be-true (and single) person. But the story is so full of non-relevant stuff, it describes Vivian as such an über-character, I simply could not take it anymore. Having said all that there are a number of things the author got right. The initial descriptions of the characters are well-crafted. The setting (a package tour through Italy) provides a good background and enough food for the characters to chew on. I suppose what this book really lacks is a good editor who dares to set the author 'straight' about likable characters and wrapping things up. The way it is now I will never learn when and how the two leads get together, if ever, and frankly, I do not care.
