Good knight story
am 20. Mai 2016
As a Dons' fan I encountered the first disappointment while reading the foreword: if you want to know about my Aberdeen time, read my other autobiography. Can't deny being a Scotsman, can he? Fortunately no bigger dissapointment followed. Sir Alex concentrates on what made him Sir Alex. Football, the nearer surroundings, the coaching and leading of players and staff. No WAGs, no (well, few) dressing room secrets, just plain football staff. Presented in a sometimes all-too-easy language, but well sectioned and clearly structured. His secret might be Poirotean: order and method.
A nice bit of reading of an iconic football figure, who did very well in choosing a manager's over a novelist's career.
