70mm high resolution HD? Not on Amazon, what losers.
am 20. September 2017
I wasted €6 on what I thought would be the cinematic experience of my entire life . . . I mean, I've seen the trailer, which was just so amazing and visually striking (I mean, come on, think about it, 70mm film scanned at high resolution? One of the most impressive feats of cinematography to have ever been achieved?), and the HD quality that Amazon sells off to its customers like a roadside vendor selling knock-off Ray Bans is just the biggest joke of a monetary exchange made in good faith that I have EVER heard of in my entire life and I am so disappointed in the pain and suffering and the absolute absurdity that Amazon claims itself not to be. Amazon, if you're listening (which you're probably not because you care a lot more about scraping the insides of unsuspecting people's wallets to meet your profit margins), then I would be VERY happy to receive my €6 refund – something which I can now NOT do because I unsuspectingly clicked on "play" and according to your deplorable policies this results in the automatic nullification of my ability to request a refund in the first place. You know what that's called in my country? A bad deal! So sad! Really though, this film is called Samsara – a term used for the cycle of suffering that we are all on. And you, Amazon, have added 15 minutes to my personal cycle of suffering. In short: Never buy this film from Amazon if you want the truly cinematic experience you expect. That said: I've seen this film in theaters and I give the film and the directors and the entire crew involved a total of 10 stars.
