It did not take much time to get to the last page of this book. The writing style and the use of language makes it a fast paced reading. The story is a mainstream one, which tries to offer the "what if" scenario concerning the rise of China and the reaction of the U.S. to it in various contingencies all over the world. Although it is fiction, this book tries to make its basic scenario a plausible one, although this does not work for all parts of the story. And then, there is this typical presentation of "We, the Americans, are the good and honest ones, and all the others just want to get rid of us". So, it is very narrow-minded and heavily biased.
