Only 3 stars due to poor quality control and "random" pricing. Why should a replacement battery cost more than the charger and battery? Also the spare battery at 34 euros is very expensive for just a platic housing, a coil of wire, a very small printed circuit board and two NiMH batteries...
I bought this product as I have a friend in England who has been very happy with it and I am rather tired of taking my keyboard to replace and recharge the batteries.
However, as so many other comments show, there is often a problem with charging the batteries - the flashing red LED "fault" light.
Intrigued by the difference in part number between the battery pack included with the charger MO3214-52 and the spare battery pack MO3214-38, I decided to investigate further. To take the battery pack apart requires a Torx T5 screwdriver, unscrew the screw and lever the top part of the battery pack off (the screw-hole side) carefully - there are three clipping points on either side between the upper and lower halves. The batteries are blue NiMH CH309 AAA 1000mAh 1.2V equivalent to any standard rechargeable AAA NiMH battery. One of the battery positive caps was oxidised. So I replaced the batteries but he charging problem persists. I separated the grey plastic cap (which houses the induction charging coil) from the shiny plastic part which houses the PCB. Surprise! The charging coil has not been soldered to the PCB! I soldered the coil wires to the PCB (to the two un-soldered vacant holes on the PCB) and reassembled all. Now the battery pack works correctly and charges completely. Conclusion, MoBee seems to feel that quality control is an extinct term and that all that counts is profit not customer satisfaction !
