Interesting to begin with then fades into rambling

The first few chapters were really interesting to me. For example, I found the history of how the mind has been viewed interesting.
Once the case has been stated that humans aren't totally blank slates, the flow of information seemed to dry up. Yes there is an interaction between genes and environment. That's hardly mind boggling or surprising to me.
I lost it when the book turned into a bitching contest of how this one author was like totally unfair to another and how they were totally out of line and can you imagine this quote that he got like from this other guy who really didn't mean it?!?!
WHAT? I really don't care about random nonsense that has nothing to do with anything. There is probably more information buried in there but I can't be bothered to wade through the bickering first.
I would not recommend this book to others.
Btw, the edition I got had a tiny font and was rather annoying to read, but that's not what this review is about.
