The book is good... but.

In general, this book is well written and very complete. I would suggest the book, nevertheless I would improve:
1) Examples. An example is something SHORT. By definition. A long example is almost worthless , because it becomes one-purpose. The first example, the writing of a spreadsheet, becomes so long and complex that, at a certain point, it is only useful if you want to write a spreadsheet. The problem is this was a "general purpose" example.
2) Although the aim was to enter deep in the issue, it lacks of a "helicopter view" of QT libraries. At the end of the book, a developer is under the impression he has quite a collection of knowledge, but still no structured knowledge.
being well written and easy to understand I give 4 stars on 5: perfect if you want to understand a collection of things about QT. If you wanted a better understanding of QT, it lacks of "helicopter view" and examples are too complex and vertical.
