I can already say, I could buy anything from Michael Hauge and it will be good.
In this book he guides you through the process of selling your ideas. How to put your whole script into a short sentence and get your ideas read.
He gives you advice in how to make a good presentation, in written and audible form and make this first contact with an agent or producer. How to make it possible that someone with little time gets interested in you and is willing to listen to you. How to be precise and with a strong pitch.
It's an easy-to-read book full of tips and advices. It's written in a very dynamic way, there's no boring parts. You can't get stuck in your career if you follow the steps he points at.
I recommend to read first his other book "writing screenplays that sell" and then this one. This one is sort of a second part.

The book keeps the promise of the title. The content is concise and clear for authors andf screen writers alike. The advice can be immediately implemented. In fact, it is a must for every writer, even if he were too shy to advertise his own work. He will be asked about it here and there and he should be prepared to offer a proper (concise, precise and intelligible) reply to an honestly interested listener. As an artist and author I face such situations on a daily basis.
