Some good information but shallow. This is one more of the kind of books that somebody takes a lot of material from different sources and try to put together in a sensible way. She discuss a lot of themes and it may be good as a starting point if you know nothing about nothing but it is not real to think that anybody could learn how to "produce ALL the food you need on just a quarter acre" with this book solely. Neither you can learn beekeeping in 2 pages. Try better "Gaia's Garden: A Guide to Home-Scale Permaculture" from Toby Hemenway and the classics from John Seymour.
