Good, not great, but probably the best

Abbas was the most recommended immunological textbook for me. It is written in a very comprehensive way, but in my opinion it sometimes is not very scientific. What bothered me most was that he is constantly touching subjects, but adds "we will explain this in more detail later in chapter X". This jumping back and forth happens throughout the book. As a result, the same topic is divided into several pieces hundreds of pages away from each other. In my opinion, if he mentions it, he should explain it.
There are enough positive reviews so I won't go into detail about what is good (we will explain this in more detail later in review X). It probably is the most comprehensive and easy-to-learn immunological textbook out there, and the graphs and figures are very clear and memorable. It works well for people who are new to this topic. I used this to refresh my immunological knowledge and that is why I noticed some parts that I didn't like, mainly because some of them weren't clearly phrased or I would have liked some more detail in certain topics. However, most of these are personal preferences that are not the author's fault.
