On the + side:
This book gives a good overview of all the functions, icons, etc used in AMOS
On the - side:
This book is convoluted. For example you read the passage about just/over/under extimation of a model. Then it is up to you to figure out what the author was actually writing about. The explanations are often unclear and clarifying graphics ten pages away.
Furthermore, even if you follow the instructions in the examples dutifully, sometimes AMOS does not model your SE Model the same way as presented in the book. And in these instances i encountered this problem, the author did not address such issues at all, let alone how to fix them.
I think my issues with this book can be summed up thusly:
The author might have lots of experience with AMOS and Structural Equation Modelling but not with explaining this program and these concepts to beginners.
