The Forsyth magic is gone...
am 17. November 2014
Ever since his first masterpiece "The Shepherd", Frederick Forsyth used to be a master of using technical descriptions to advance a story. In "The Kill List" it seems the other way around - the plot is used to show off how well research Forsyth books are. Yet, like in many of his recent books, the magic is gone. It is still well written, the story advances neatly but the book fizzles. The plot is different but the book reminded me too much of "The Afghan" th excite in any way.
