Good, but probably better as a "group read"

This is a pretty interesting and funny book, full of great ideas and things that will probably change the way you think about people, life and language. You may find yourself afterwards involuntarily making up your own words for those experiences in your own life that don't have a proper description, this can actually be infuriating when you catch yourself doing it unconsciously.
That said, there is something about the dictionary-like format of the book that makes it a little bit tedious. You can see the Adams humour throughout, so fans should enjoy it, but sitting down to read it for an hour isn't such a good idea. Rather I'd recommend it as something to leave lying around, to pick up every now and then in a moment of boredom and have a look, or to read with a bunch of friends and have a laugh.
