Marlon Baker's new comicBilly is a couch potato, as opposed to his twin brother, Elliot, who is a true sports fan. While his brother try out all sorts of sports, Billy prefer to escape into the worlds of his books, because here he can be anything he can imagine. Since the death of his mother, the boy has become very quiet and pulls back frequently.
His father wants to inspire him for at least one kind of sport, and because he does not want his son effeminate, he sends him to his friend Stolz, who owns a dilapidated boxing stable. Here many big names of boxing have trained. The walls in this old and musty hall are full of posters and portraits of the men, who had once taken the first step to become a legend in the sport of boxing.
However, Billy doesn‘t care and doesn‘t want to emulate these men. Far too much, he is afraid of Stolz’s son Hayden , who can’t wait to beat the shit out of that boy and becomes his first sparring partner. Hayden can‘t wait to show this effeminated boy, where the rubber meets the road.
But it all comes differently than Billy as well as his brother and father thought. One day, Billy encounters a person, who will change and shape his life for good. He discoveres his preference for dancing and the music, much to the dismay of his father ...
This new 3D cartoon of Marlon Baker is a tribute to the movie "Billy Elliot" and the "Billy Elliot Musical", which is performed for 10 years now in London and will go on big tour in the UK from February 2016. The story "a little boy's dream" leans on the original story of Billy Elliot and can be understood as a fan-fiction, which is told in more than 100 elaborately produced images as a comic.
