Ich habe dieses Teil trotz der vielen negativen Rezensionen geschickt und wollte es einfach mal ausprobieren.
Am Ende des Tages stellt sich heraus, wenn man das Setup über einen der USB C Stecker am Strom hängen hat (Egal ob den Pi oder die USV), entlädt sich die USV während des Betriebs stetig. So wie viele Rezensionen vorher beschrieben.
Sobald man die USV über ein MIcroUSB Kabel an der Seite anschließt, funktioniert alles:
- USV übernimmt unterbrechungsfrei wenn die externe Stromquelle ausfällt
- USV hält die Spannung über mehrere Stunden (abhängig von der Systemlast)
- USV lädt sich wieder auf sobald die externe Stromquelle wieder verfügbar.
Ich nutze ein Anker 20W Netzteil für 5V/4A welches an jedem USB A Port 2,4A liefert. vollkommen ausreichend.
Mag sein das hier verschiedene Varianten im Umlauf sind. Bei der USV welche ich geliefert bekommen habe funktioniert es wie gerade beschrieben.
Funktion: Betreiben Sie einen Raps. 4 am US Port der mit 4 Amp. beschriftet ist, dann saugt er die Batterien leer und fällt aus - obwohl die USV gleichzeitig an einem Netzteil hängt. Das die USV mit einem Micro USB Kabel betrieben wird, die Ausgänge jedoch USB A und USB C Ausgänge mit bis zu 4 Ampere haben, ist eindeutig eine Fehl Konstruktion. Der Raspberry 4 mit einem 4" Display benötigt im Ruhezustand 1-1,3 Ampere und dennoch fällt er an der USV aus weil sich die Batterien entladen - das kann nicht sein. Ich habe es mit USB -C auf C sowie mit USB A auf C getestet. Das Eingangskabel Micro USB ist ein hochwertiges 30cm kurzes Kabel an einem 3,4 Ampere Ladestecker - dennoch, die USV erfüllt nicht Ihren Zweck, denn die Batterien saugen sich leer und der Raspberry bekommt dann nur noch 0,5 Ampere Durchlaufstrom - dadurch stürzt er natürlich ab. Ich kann nicht ausschliessen, das meine Platine out of the box einen Fehler hat - daher testen Sie gerne selbst.
But if it reaches once (after 90% is it very-very slow approx 10-14h, with 4A powered and only approx 600mA consumtion for RPi, it should be 4000-600 mA = 3400mA left for charging so that is another question) at the 100% mark (fully charged), the device suddenly shuts down your raspberry, and you can have lost data maybe corrupted sd card...
This is not a kind of trustable ups...
Second problem: you won't find any software support or instructions for THIS gadget (for other manufacturer you will, but it's not useable for this one), so battery monitoring does not work (ina.busvoltage will get only a continus voltage of the device input instead of the battery, so you cannot measure the battery's health or anything with it).
This is a kind of waste of your time and money... this is not ups or something else.
I am sending it back, and buying another one from another manufacturer. If the battery monitoring would be okay, and this damm power off after charging the batteries would be ok, I would say, it is useable, so designers have a lot to do with this before next selling.

18650er Akkus von einem zerlegten Rasenmäher-Akkupack hatte ich sowieso hier rumliegen. Der Zusammenbau ist dank der hervorragend vorbereiteten Teile absolut einfach.
Die gebrauchten Akku-Zellen habe ich vorab noch bezüglich der Kapazität getestet, damit ich keine ungleich starken Zellen verwende. Wer neue verwendet hat hier einen Arbeitsschritt weniger.
Zusammenbau, Einschalten, vergessen. Super! Ein wünschenswertes Add-On wäre noch eine Überwachung per Python und ein Script, das einem eine Message übermittelt, wenn ein Stromausfall eingetreten ist, damit man noch zeitnah eingreifen kann.
Das erste läuft soweit, die beiden letzteren schalten den jeweils daran hängenden Raspberry 4B ab, obwohl die Pufferbatterien laut LED-Anzeige voll geladen sind.
Ein Neustart des Pi ist dann nicht mehr möglich, da kurz nach dem Einschalten die Stromzufuhr zum Py abgeschaltet wird.
