The game not only reflects harsh reality, but also points out that children remain children even in war - they laugh, cry, play and see the world with different eyes. Eins Vorweg: In diesem Spiel läuft man nicht mit der Knarre im Anschlag als One-Man-Army durch die Gegend.

Hier geht es darum im Krieg so lange wie möglich zu überleben.
Es zeigt die Schrecken und Entbehrungen mit denen Menschen im Krieg umgehen müssen.

Man startet mit einer zufällig gewählten Gruppe in einem zerstörten Haus.
Zuerst ist es wichtig sich lebensnotwendige Ressourcen wie Essen und Wasser und andere Materialien zu sichern.
Hierzu kann man Schränke und Schuttberge durchsuchen.
Mit den gefunden Materialien ist es dann möglich weitere Gegenstände herzustellen (Betten, Waffen, bessere Werkstätten usw.)
Am Ende des Tages muss man sich dann entscheiden wer sich in der Umgebung umschaut um dort Ressourcen zu plündern, wer Wache hält und natürlich ob und wer sich ausruhen darf.

Hierbei gibt es wiederum viel zu beachten:
- wer ist der Richtige für die Aufgabe?
- ist vielleicht jemand krank und sollte sich besser ausruhen?
- welche Ressourcen nehme ich wirklich mit?
- usw.

Im Spiel trifft man auch immer wieder auf andere Charaktere die Hilfe brauchen, Hilfe anbieten oder einfach nur handeln wollen.
Nicht jeder führt jedoch nur Gutes im Schilde. Da hier alle um das nackte Überleben kämpfen kommt es entsprechend auch zu Konflikten.

Sollte einer der Charaktere sterben gilt: wer tot ist bleibt tot!

Alles in allem ein ergreifendes Spiel, dass sich jeder aus unserer Wohlstandsgesellschaft mal ansehen sollte!
Eines meiner persönlichen Highlights in diesem noch jungen Jahr.

Es varriert am Anfang, man weiß nie mit wieviel Personen man sich einen Unterschlupf teilen muss und welche Fähigkeiten diese haben. das macht es Spannend. Was mich stört, das der Bürgerkrieg gerade einmal 25 Tage lang anhält, bis dahin hat man nicht einmal 30% der möglichen Häuser geplündert. Was ich darüber hinaus schade finde, das man keine größeren Rucksäcke findet die man gegen seine kleineren austauschen könnte. Es ist einfach zu einfach gemacht, Trinkwasser kommt nach einer gewissen Zeit, wenn man eine Anlage dafür gebaut hat aber es wäre schöner wenn es auch da Wetter abhängig wäre. Bei Regen mehr Wasser im Sommer weniger. Naja ein nette Spiel aber dann doch weit ab der Realität.

Ich habe mich wie wahnsinnig auf das Spiel gefreut, ich fand das Setting sehr spannend. Ich finde die Idee hat viel Potenzial - mal den Krieg nicht als der mächtige Soldat mit Waffen zu erleben, sondern als ein einfacher Zivilist, der ums nackte Überleben kämpft. Die ersten paar Stunden sind toll, bis man die Mechanik versteht. Man muss stets leise vorgehen, um an die Ressourcen zu kommen. Ebenfalls der Faktor des geistigen Zustands der einzelnen Zivilisten ist sehr wichtig - so sollte man das bestehlen von ärmeren oder generell anderen Menschen möglichst vermieden. Ebenso sollte man das Töten anderer Zivilisten vermeiden - denn so brechen die Protagonisten mit Sicherheit zusammen. Man kann aber kleinere Gewissensverstoße, die man wegen Nahrungs- oder Medikamentenmangel begangen hat wieder gut machen, indem man bei Bedarf den Nachbarn hilft.

Leider wiederholt sich diese Spielmechanik immer. Egal, mit welchen Protagonisten man spielt. Man muss nur darauf aufpassen, wer wieviel Platz im Rucksack hat beziehungsweise deren Vorteile benutzen können.

Grafisch finde ich das spiel sehr gut, ich mag es, wenn der Ansatz mal geändert wird und ein anderes Artwork benutzt wird. Dies trägt der dunklen Atmosphäre des Krieges bei.

Zusammenfassung: Das spielt macht so einiges richtig, die grafische Umsetzung sowie das Soundtrack sind beide gut und tragen wesentlich zur Atmosphäre bei. Würde sich die Spielmechanik nicht so oft ändern, würde ich vier Sterne geben.

Das Spiel ist eigentlich sehr nett. Am Anfang auf jeden Fall ziemlich schwierig, bis man so ganz verstanden hat wie es funktioniert und was man genau beachten muss.

Ein GANZ großes Manko ist jedoch, dass das Spiel jedes mal wenn man einen anderen Überlebenden aufnehmen möchte abstürzt. Und da ist es auch egal ob man ihn aufnimmt oder wegschickt. Das Spiel ist in diesem Moment dann einfach vorbei und man kann es nicht weiterspielen.

Ganz klar keine Kaufempfehlung und ich werde dieses Spiel vorraussichtlich auch zurückgeben.

...und hat eine Melancholische Anlehnung.
Grafisch ist es jetzt nicht so detailliert, dennoch geht es mir um die Handlung und die finde ich schon ziemlich düster. Nun gut, im Krieg zu überleben ist ja auch nicht Sonnenschein und Heiterkeit. Das haben die wirklich gut gemacht. Strategisch erstmal Sachen herzustellen die zum überleben wirklich absolut wichtig ist. Dann auch das verhalten der Charaktere finde ich gut in Szene gesetzt.
Es ist für mich kein Spiel das ich durchgehend über Stunden zocken könnte, doch so ab und an hat es wirklich seinen Reiz.

Für mich hat es schon einen Reiz.
Sicherlich gibt es bessere Survival Games. Dennoch ist das echt was anderes als gegen "Zombies" zu überleben

Ich fande dieses Spiel mal was anderes, statt immer den "Helden" und "Retter" sein. Hier wird das Leben des Krieges für die unschuldigen wiedergespiegelt. Schade ist nur, das es keine Einführung gibt und das es extrem kniffelig ist. Sonst richtig gut gelungen.

Anti-Kriegs-Rollenspiel,so würde ich diesen interessanten Genre Mix am ehesten beschreiben.Es geht darum einen Bürgerkrieg zu überleben,in dem man die richtigen Entscheidungen trifft,mit anderen Charakteren handelt,Häuser plündert,sich ausrüstet usw. Ich bin zufällig auf das Spiel gestoßen da ich mal wieder was Neues für die Xbox brauchte und kann es nur empfehlen.
