    Von Redemption habe ich zum ersten Mal bei meinem besten Kumpel gehört... ich denk noch so: "Hey, ist das ne Neue von Fates Warning?" Ne, das ist nur Ray Alder, deren Sänger. Ich war sofort begeistert. Inside Out, das Plattenlabel hat hier mit den drei Alben „The Origins Of Ruin“, „Snowfall On Judgment Day“ und „This Mortal Coil“ eine tolle Sammlung zu einem unschlagbaren Preis zusammen gestellt, bei der man 3 Alben zum Preis von einem bekommt, und was soll ich sagen: Die Alben sind ebenfalls sehr stark, keine Jahrhundertwerke wie "Images and Words", "Awaken The Guardian", "Blackwater Park" oder "Moving Pictures", aber zumindest Alben, die man sich gerne mehrere Male anhört!

    Ich möchte hier keine Bewertung über die musikalische Qualität der enthaltenen Alben dieser fantastischen amerikanischen Pro-Metaller abliefern, sondern nur äußerst positiv darauf hinweisen, dass dies meine erste Box aus der "Original Album Collection" Flut ist, in der zum ersten Mal sogar das komplette Booklet aller 3 CDs (in einem) enthalten ist. Alle CDs befinden sich in Cardleeves, aber dass ist ja bei diesen Collections so üblich und man rechnet ja auch damit. Preislich finde ich diese schön gestaltete limitierte Box völlig in Ordnung. Von meiner Warte aus die höchste Bewertung!

    These guys are really talented, the songs are well structured and arranged, lyrics are interesting, the box set itself is great - I had to buy this (from England) as these three albums aren't available anywhere to be purchased as downloads. The guitar riffs on all their albums are incredibly energetic and heavy, bass lines are great and the drummer really masters his instrument and is a mathematician of odd time signatures. You can't go wrong with this band. There are another two albums from 2016 and 2018 that are masterpieces as well.

    Just a short note, in support of a five star review. Anyone reading this probably already knows that the music is top drawer progressively tinged metal but what really struck me was the value and the quality of the packaging. Unlike similar products offered by the major labels, the CD`s ( in single card sleeves) do come in a box as opposed to a slipcase and most importantly the enclosed booklet contains a pretty faithful reproduction of each albums artwork including all the lyrics. Highly recommended particularly to anyone new to the band or someone looking to fill some gaps after enjoying 2016`s superb Art of loss release.
