Joseph H. WolffReviewed in the United States on 28 May 20245.0 out of 5 stars Required Reading for Every Law Enforcement Officer
Amazing theory... read it many years ago...loaned my copy to someone long ago so I wanted to brush up on content. Broken Windows was a key element towards the revitalization of NYC through the 80's and 90's. Homicides in the early 80's were 2200 per year....not a typo (Two Thousand Two Hundred) the Giuliani administration managed to reduce homicides by 1900... to less than 300 in about 10 years time holding those number through the 2000's and the Bloomberg Administration. Consequently, nearly every major city in the world emulated the principles with mostly success. Of course the lunatics have gained control of these cities and reversed those effort in very short time.. NYC closing in on 400 and rising steadily

Excelente libro.

A great book, with a nicely presented concept of public security and order maintenance, but a bit boring to read.

Reviewed in Japan on 14 June 20044.0 out of 5 stars 「割れ窓理論」をビジネスに活用
