I love the romances if Natasha Anders. This one does not have the torture and angst of the other two in the series, so I kind of worried if it would work. It does, wonderfully. I auto-buy whatever she writes.
The bit more breadth and emotional space given to the couples, the time taken to truly see the bond stabilizing / growing after the "break-through" moment is solo good. You really get to enjoy the couples connection and happiness. Traditional harlequin presents just feel cut-off or rushed a bit, in comparison.
