5.0 von 5 Sternen A MUST READ BOOK, 1. November 2013
Verifizierter Kauf(Was ist das?)
Strongly recommend. A must read book. An incredible story of WWll POWs how they managed to survive in rubber boat in the middle of Pacific ocean for over a month without food and water. Then to be captured by the Japanese. Sent to POWs camps in Japan. It was a shocking story how they survived the conditions and the kind of treatment in the camps. It's the WWll's untold story of the survival of POWs.

5.0 von 5 Sternen A MUST READ,a remarkable, well written that details one of the most significant periods in the U.S history during his presidency, 21. Januar 2011
Rezension bezieht sich auf: Decision Points (Gebundene Ausgabe)
President Bush W. walks the readers through his life from childhood spent in Texas, became a Texas governor and then 2 terms elected U.S President. Comprised of hard facts and sprinkled with emotion and humor throughout the book. He wrote how faith has changed him and his life, and has the effect on how he made his decision (personal) and in politics (moral obligation to rid of the world evil, and to protect lives of Americans. If one wants to know what went on inside the White House on 9/11 and days after, one must read this book because he tells you just about all the details (declassified) how he made decisions to go to war with Afghanistan and then Iraq. (It's better to hear from him directly than from the media that usually made things up) He gives the readers a chance to look closely inside him and his heart and have a better and true understanding of him and his most important decisions which affected millions of lives. The book also shows how unfairly and often falsely the media and his critics wrote and accused him. (and I agree that the media was being very harsh on him and treated him quite badly.) Whether you like him or not, I recommend that you read this book and then decides to yourself what kind of president he was. As he said, the history will judge him.
