This is the first Juliette Sobanet book I’ve read and I’m glad I did, because she’s a great writer. I’ve heard so many great things about her books and then when I saw an open tour for Honeymoon in Paris I grabbed the chance and signed up.

So here we are, this book is actually the sequel to Sleeping With Paris, but you can also read it as a stand alone, I did as well and there is enough information for us to get into the story and of what happened before.

Charlotte is a lovely character and I liked that the fact the she’s an American in Paris, Lyon (France) teaching English and French.
Paris is an amazing city and it’s great reading about The city of Lights in books.

Charlotte is on her honeymoon with Luc her husband. He planned amazing things, but then everything turns upside down. Luc’s ex-wife and the mother of his cute daughter Adeline Brigitte comes into the picture. She’s a famous actress and dating Vincent Boucher. Vincent is the father of Nicholas and Marcel (two French actors) and he was also married to Luc’s mother (after his father ended up in prison).
There is also the fact that Luc has a lot of secrets and he doesn’t want Charlotte to know the truth. Then he suddenly leaves Paris, because Adeline is sick in Lyon. Charlotte spends her last night in Paris with her two best friends Lexi and Fiona and they end up with the Boucher brothers. They next morning they remember nothing and it gets worse it’s all over the tabloids. Of course Luc and also their boyfriends find out. Back home the drama increases, Char loses her job and has to look for a new one. She doesn’t tell Luc. It’s also that her new job is at Bella Magazine in Lyon with Victor Boucher.

Char is determined to find out what Luc is not telling her, she knows it’s all connected with Brigitte, Victor and his sons. Luc still isn’t saying a word and exactly knows how to make Char forget everything.
These two are made for each other, that was clear from the start. I didn’t Luc being so secretive all the time though.

The story is full of drama, mystery and love.

I loved the scene where Charlotte tried to cheer Adeline up with the penguin story, that was so adorable.

Char took matters into her own hands, trying to find out what was going on. The drama increases dramatically and there is even some danger.
Lexi and Fiona have their own story developed in this book and I liked the three girls together, real friends.

Only at the end, when all the drama is solved, Luc tells everyone the truth…

I couldn’t put the book down. It was dramatic, myserious and still sweet and, gripping and adorable. Sme things were a little over the top for me, so I can only give 4 coffee cups, it’s still a great book!

“What do you need a boyfriend for? You’re a mum.”

Tha’s how Fergus, one of Alice’s son reacts on her going on dates. I love books involving children and this time it was a little different, because Logan and Fergus are already teenager. It was great to get an insight to family life though, I really enjoyed it.
Alice’s a single mom, working as a secretary at a school and having her little meringues business. Then there are her boys, I loved the three oft hem together.

It took my a while to get into the story though. I can’t really say why, because there were some really funny parts and I like Fiona’s writing.

It was interesting followinging Alice’s story and reading about her dates. The dates seemed a little unreal for me and unfortunately Alice’s feelings didn’t come through. She seemed to enjoy the dates and felt a spark and then suddenly it was over. Some decisions were made a little bit too fast form y taste.

Next to Alice’s dating stories, she had to deal with her boys and also their day, so plenty was going on, sometimes almost a little too much.

Alice’s best friends are great. It’s so lovely of them to send her on different dates and we are really kept wondering with whom Alice’s was going to end up. Let’s just say, she made the right choice.

There were some adorable scenes in this book, especially the ones including children, so sweet. On Alice’s birthday the story finally clicked with me and was so glad. Alice has got wonderful friends and amazing sons.

Fiona’s writing is hilarious, sweet and adorable.

Thank you Kristina for asking me to review your book.

I fell in love with the cover instantly, the colours, the background, every single detail, perfect...

Now, let's start with the story. Garce is the main character, she is an event organiser and we meet her at a theme party of Regency england, where she's working also wearing a costume. Then suddenly the lights go out and then there's a man. They are attracted to each otherr very much and i liked the way Kristina desribed this. They begin to kiss passionately and then someone sees them...

She sees herself surrounded by Jasper, the great kisser, and his sister Victoria. Their all wearing costumes and only after a while and after spending some days with them she realises that she landed in Regency England. Therefore she now also has to marry lord Bingham (Jasper), who was promised to another lady (lady Anne) because they were caught kissing.

Grace needs time to get used to this whole new life, with only Victoria knowing wher she really comes from. Does she even want to go back home?

Jasper and Grace click instantly and there is definitely a huge spark there. Both of them seem to fight their feelings for each other and also the lust for more...
I really liked their scenes together, very passionate and flirty, but does that fit into Regency England? I had to ask myself this question several times. I don't know much about this period of time, but it seemed a little misplaced at times and more fitting with our time. Nevertheless, I enjoyed seeing Grace's and Jasper's relationship continue. They were falling for each other more and more. The only thing I didn't like about their relationship was that it was mostly about lust and not real feelings, or let's say they didn't quite come through.

Not everything was happy and cheerful though. Lady Anne's brother wanted to see Grace gone and tried everything to get her away from Jasper, so that Lady Anne could marry him. At one point he was successful and I was only hoping for Jasper and Neal (Victoria's husband) to fine her... So therewas definely enough drama there.

Garce also had adecision to make: Staying or going home and would she even find a possibility to get home and travel time again.

Another thing I thought was strange in this books, were some scenes, especially the ones involving action, where things happened really fast some, parts didn't really connect. Suddenly something happened, without a clear explanation how it came to this.

So, all in all I enjoyed the book, especially the romantic scenes and there was also enough drama. The last spark was missing though, because of the reasons I expalined before.

And one more thing: It reminded me of a TV series called Lost in Austen (ITV, 2008), where a woman suddenly found herself in the time of Pride and Prejucide. I really liked that series :).

A simple and yet so effective cover, I love it ♥

Meet ellen Newman, a nanny starting her new job for Mr. Donovan, looking after his sweet and adorable little girl called Izzy.
We soon find out that Ellen has had a really tough and difficult past and doesn't want to be reminded of it. The way she looks out for little Izzy is so cute. The two of them together was a pleasure to read about.

Mr. Donovan is a crime psychologist and soon wants to find out, what Ellen is hiding. He saw her scars and constantly analyzes her when she speaks to him. He's a great father ♥ his little girl is his everything. Carla is his PA, she is special and Ellen has herr difficulties with her especially at the beginning.
Izzy's mum Amanda has some real problems and now she wants full costody for her daugther and is willing to do everything for that, you'll see (read it!)

Ellen and Donovan (yes, she addresses him with his last name) get to know each other more and kore and after a while she opens up and tells him part of her story, he finds out the rest himself ;) we know that Ellen's ex-boyfriend treated her badly and when strange things (weird incidents and accidents) begin to happen Round the town and donovan's house, the question is wherther Toby is behind it. Donovan doesn't want Ellen to leave and I loved , biw they slowly realied their feelings for each other and got closer and closer...
Donovan seems to be the perfect man for Ellen and he gives her security and most importantly she feels safe in his arms. Aww, I fell for him myself, I admit. He's protective, caring, sweet, smart, romantic and he's an awesome dad.

The three of them were looking like a family more and more and that was adorable to rad about.

Next to Donovan only her best friend Kate knows where she is. It was interesting to learn more about Ellen's past. Then Toby turns up at the house and wants to convince Donovan that Ellen has mental problems, what will Donovan believe?
The drama and action increases more when kate calls and turns up with Toby, some terrible things happen and I only hope for Donovan to hear from it early enough. At one point I almost couldn't bare it anymore, so dramatic and thrilling and I got really scared.
I couldn't put this book down, such a page turner, I loved every single minute of it.

The last scene was so special and is actually calling for more, I'd really love this story to go on, also to find out his first name ;). This novel is gripping, vivid, dramatic, emotional, touching, adventurous brilliant, catchy, adorable and much more, go read it now, it's worth every single page!!! ♥

Thank you Zanna for asking me to review your book, I’m so glad you did, because I LOVED it!!!
The cover of this wonderful story is beautiful. The colours play with each other, there are some adorable little details and it’s so girly and catchy. I like the title as well and I really think it fits the story perfectly.

Now, let’s come to the story and the characters. There is Faith, lovely and adorable Faith. I think it’s great that she fought for her own business and is now so successful with it.

Then Zane comes into town and opens his own business. The two of them get along really well and Zanna found a great way to describe how their relationship developed. So sweet, adorable and vivid, I loved everything about their scenes.
Zane is amazing, almost to perfect: athletic, smart, romantic, sexy, successful… I found myself another book boyfriend ;)
Unfortunately it turns out that he’s not that perfect, he seems to struggle with his past and cannot tell Faith about it and pushes her back, just when everything was so wonderful between them. Poor Faith…

Oh and then there’s Matt, Zane’s business partner and best friend and he’s also Faith’s ex, the ex that cheated on her!!! Zane doesn’t like the idea of that and when Matt starts flirting her, everything seems to “explode”. Zane not being totally honest with Faith, Matt having a weird plan to help Zane and Faith being confused about Zane and his feelings. The only thing she knows is that she loves Zane and misses him.
Matt has a secret and only Zane knows about it.
Only towards the end everything is revealed and solved and some things about their past comes out.

I could have punched Zane, when he was so cold to Faith and didn’t want to open up, because I that that they were perfect for each other. They had a real connection from the beginning, definitely meant for each other.

The sporty touch gave the novel another exciting level. I couldn’t put this book down, it’s so gripping and full of drama, emotions and real love described in such a vivid and fresh way. I couldn’t bare the two of them not being together so I read and read and read. Such a brilliant book, by a talented author. ♥♥♥
Sweet epilogue, actually calling for more I’d say.

The Perfect Match is the first Katie Fforde book I’ve read, but I’ve seen so many of her stories on TV. A German TV company produces Katie Fforde film based on her books and I really love them. I’m so glad I finally got round to reading one of her books.

Firstly, I’d like to say that I adore the cover. It’s so springy and colourful, the “perfect” match ;).

Bella is a wonderful character. She is an estate agent and left her home to live with her god-mother Alice. All the just because of a broken heart, are let’s rather say he was married and going to be a dad… So no chance, Bella couldn’t bare it and moved away. Now she is happy with Nevil, her boss. I had a really weird impression from him from the start and I didn’t like the way he was treating Bella. And his behaviour is getting weirder and weirder…
Then THE ONE turns up. Dominic Thane is the nephew of one of Bella’s clients. His life has changed a lot and we were about to find out more about their past. Their scenes together were so lovely and sweet and I was only waiting for something to happen between them, because the spark was definitely there. I took a while though…
Bella had to figure out what she had with Nevil and then she also found out about some illegal things he was doing. A good thing that Dominic is a solicitor, that meant they got to spend more time together.

There was not only Bella’s story to follow, but also Alice’s. Alice met a younger men in the train and that’s where their relationship started. Such a cute and romantic story with a sweet couple. Katie found a great way to share Alice’s feelings with us. I felt like their relationship developed a little to quickly though.
Unfortunately, I didn’t really like that Alice’s story interrupted Bella’s from time to time. They were connected, but the last thread of connection was missing for me and it felt like reading two different stories to me.

The last few scenes finally brought the drama, I was missing at first, into the story.

Dominic is such a great and caring character and it was adorable how protective of Bella he was.
His wife is all forgotten, in fact he might have had feelings for Bella before. You’ll find out, if you read it yourself ;) Dylan, “his little boy” brought some fun and joy into the novel and these moments were just so sweet. I loved how Bella was with him.
The scenes in the end really transmitted so much love and charm and the epilogue is just perfect….

Katie’s writing is sweet, adorable and emotional. I will definitely read more of her books.

First of all I’d like to thank the author for sending me her book, thank you Gale. I probably wouldn’t have chosen it myself, but I am so glad I read it.

The blurb sounded really interesting and I wasn’t sure if it was my kind of thing. It turned out that it was. The mixture between a romance and a crime story was great.
Ellie is a 28 years old woman, who hasn’t had a real boyfriend yet and likes her work as a rest home receptionist. It was great to how caring she was to all the inhabitants, they have built a real friendship. Ellie was a wonderful character to follow and relate to.

She takes the inhabitants to a Tom Jones imitator festival and there she meets Evan, gorgeous Eva, who is one f the impersonators. Something terrible happens at the context and one of the competitors is murdered. Ellie is in the middle of it all and Evan is one of the suspects. Ellie doesn’t know what to think. Evan is innocent in her eyes…

Mary Levy the handsome police detective comes along and the two of them seem to click in several levels. I loved their date ;).

There are also Happy (the widow) and her brother Donny. Their Ellie’s childhood friends, but I found it a little hard to find a connection to them.

I have to say that it took me a while to get into the story, but the drama got more intense after every page and I really liked that. I couldn’t put the book down at one stage of the story.
Gale’s writing is vivid, dramatical and fresh!!!
The way Ellie’s journey for love was combined to this whole murder investigation was brilliant and it was so gripping till the end, not knowing who was the killer. Some little surprises kept coming up as well…

Something new and fresh and so different from other love stories.

This novella was such a pleasure to read. The story is simple, but yet really fascinating.

Aurora finds herself alone and heart broken on beautiful and exotic Bali. What a great place to set a story, I loved reading about it; I really wanna go there now.

The attraction between Aurora and Marcel was obvious from the start; it was only a matter of time for them to get more intimate. They way their story progress was passionate and great to read about. The scenes were so vivid, described with such detail and heart. I real story to dive in.

It seems that this holiday is the perfect break for Aurora, although it started in the worst possible way. It makes her think about life and what she wants to do with it. Page after page she is realising her true feelings…

Both Aurora and Marcel seem to be falling for each other fast and hard. An unexpected guest adds some real drama to this novella and Marcel is a real hero at that moment.

We also hear more about his story, which was so lovely.

Passionate, hot, flirty, steamy, magical and adoring!!! ♥

Ed is the typical macho guy, only dating for fun and he doesn’t want a serious relationship. Oh and did I mention he’s a billionaire?
He starts a bet with his sister Callie and he’s best friend Will, who’d like to see him date a girl longer than one night ending in bed.

He meets Millie Brown in an accident kind of way and the y bet starts. I liked Millie instantly, she’s independent, knows what she wants. She doesn’t want to be in a relationship as well and it hast o to with her past.

We find out that they both have secrets and don’t want to talk about their families. Ed doesn’t want her to know that he’s rich… Well, she was about to find out…

I saw Ed and Millie falling for each other more and more after every page, although they didn’t realise it for themselves.
They both had a lot of stuff to figure out and some drama to deal with.
It was great to see them help each other see the light.
There were some pretty emotional and touching scenes, which made the characters seem even more genuine and real.
On the other hand, there were some funny scenes as well, which made me smile all over my face and laugh out loud.

Of course there was also a lot of romance involved and these scenes were written in a brilliant way, steamy, passionate and playful.
Jane found a great way to share this with us readers and describe the story in a true, sincere and fascinating way.

It shows what love can do to people and that if you find the right person you change all your values to be with THE ONE.

When the whole truth comes out, also about Ed’s family and Millie0’s past, they’re feelings are put on a test, but they seem to realise what they feel for each other.
The last few scenes were really sweet and honest, I loved that.

This book is a great summer read with some great drama, love and laughter involved.

Rebecca’s life is full of adventures. There is her job at Pamper Moi with her special colleagues and her boss, and then there are her friends Abi and Julia plus the boys, including Jeremy. She soon discovers that he is cheating on her and breaks up with him.

I loved that this novel was set in London, I adore this city and it was great to read about places I know.

Becky finds herself working closely for Isabella Coombs, who seems to be a nice and lovely woman. Then Isabella wants to test her husband’s faithfulness and sends Becky to flirt with him. She is his type apparently. At first he doesn’t seem to be interested at all, but then after a few dates they’re getting closer and soon Rebecca seems to be falling for him, without even realising it. Her friends and colleagues see it first.
But dating a married man? A real moral dilemma for Becky. The perfect title for this book.

Julia is engaged to Seb, the wedding was off already twice and it was hard to tell, whether what they had was real love. And then Abi, I didn’t quite get her character and sometimes it was too much for me with all of Rebecca’s friends included and also Jeremy wanting her back.
I was so focused on Rebecca’s story that I liked hearing about her friends, but not as a whole parallel plot though, that’s a bit of a pity for me here.

Zara’s style of writing is great though. It’s vivid and bubbly, full of energy and great scenes.

Isabella Coombs turns out to be a real bitch and everything gets into a real drama here, with a lot of misunderstandings and twists and turns. I just wanted Rebecca to finally be with her man!!!

Charles is a great character, I didn’t get him at first, but he’s so charismatic in the way he treats Rebecca and when he talks about his boys. It really comes from his heart.

I liked Rebecca’s energy and drive. She could give me some of that ;)
