About the Author

Dian Hanson is a 25-year veteran of men's magazine publishing. She began her career at Puritan Magazine in 1976 and went on to edit a variety of titles, including Partner, Oui, Hooker, Outlaw Biker, and Juggs magazines. In 1987 she took over the '60s title Leg Show and transformed it into the world's best-selling fetish publication. Most recently, she authored TASCHEN's Dian Hanson's History of Men's Magazines six volume set, The Big Book of Breasts, Richard Kern's Action and The New Erotic Photography.

    Dian Hanson was born in Seattle, Washington, November 2, 1951. A hippie and high school drop out, she moved east at age 20, first to Oxford, Mississippi, then Allentown, Pennsylvania, finally settling in New York City in 1976 to work on the sex magazine Puritan. Over the next 25 years she edited magazines including Partner, Oui, Adult Cinema Review, Harvey, Hooker, Juggs and Leg Show. She founded the magazines Outlaw Biker, Hawgs, Big Butt, Bust Out and Tight. In 1993 Hanson became friends with Benedikt Taschen, and in 2001 she finally agreed to leave sex magazines and take over the Sexy Book division of TASCHEN Publishing. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, the novelist Geoff Nicholson.

...dachte ich ja erst, als ich eine Bilderserie auf stern.online entdeckte. Und irgendwann lag der Bildband in der Buchhandlung aus, und ich konnte mal drin blättern. Guter, fester Einband, Format ca. 30x22 cm, mit 280 Seiten und knapp 30 € bietet er ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, so wie man das vom Taschen-Verlag auch erwartet.
Inhaltlich war ich angenehm überrascht: Zwar werden Füße und Beine der sehr ansehnlichen weiblichen Models und Porno-Stars (und -sternchen) schon akzentuiert, ansonsten kommt aber auch der Freund trashiger Porn-Art und anderer provokanter Inzenierungen auf seine Kosten.
(Als vergleichbarer Stil fällt mir eigentlich nur Roy Stuart ein, wobei mir seine Werke nie so richtig gefallen haben).
Auf jeden Fall nix für Kinder oder Liebhaber der ästhetischen Körperlandschaft-Aktfotografie, sondern fotografisch und handwerklich gut gemachte, deftige Kost.

Prima (auch für Nicht-Fußfetischisten wie mich), daher fünf Sterne!

Fast hätte ich die beigefügte DVD mit dem Add-On-Material, gegliedert in "Beauty" und "Bad", vergessen....man ahnt es schon: Sich räkelnde Models, Fesselspiele , Dildoeinsatz, im Handkamera-Stil gefilmt...na ja, wer's mag. Verschlechtert den Gesamteindruck aber keinesfalls.

Von extrem schmutzig bis glamourös. Von Pornogrößen bis zum Sternchen von nebenan. Alles dabei. Vielseitige Fantasien sehr originell umgesetzt. Jedes Bild hat eine neue Wirkung und Stimmung. Ich habe es mir aufgrund der Vorschau mir nicht so wegweisend und rahmensprengend vorgestellt. Bin großer Fan und musste mir gleich noch den zweiten Band dazu bestellen. Es ist schön groß, kreativ, verdammt sexy und einfach perfekt. Bin sonst kein Fan von Softerotik aber dieses Buch kann echt alles.

Ein tolles Buch mit wunderbaren Bildern.
Hier werden Facetten von ganz zart Erotisch bis hin zu erschreckend Andersartig bedient.
Die Vorliebe für Füße zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch das ganze Buch und die beiliegende DVD aber ist auch für Nicht-Fußfetischisten nicht störend.
Dieses Buch verdient mehr als 5 Sterne aber die Tatsache das dieses Buch völlig frei bestellbar ist finde ich erschreckend.
Der dezente Hinweis auf der DVD "Adults Only" sollte genau so für das Buch gelten.
Ich habe bei Amazon schon DVDs mit Spezialversand bestellt, die weitaus harmloser waren als dieses Buch.
Dieses Buch bedient Fetische oder Präverenzen die für jüngeres Publikum in meinen Augen nicht bestimmt sind.

Mit großen Erwartungen habe ich der Lieferung dieses Buches entgegengefiebert, am Ende wurde meine Begeisterung aber ein wenig gebremst.

Positiv:

- Qualität des Buches: 1a! Die Fotografien sind gut gedruckt und versprühen Glamour im wahrsten Sinne.
- Qualität der Bilder: 1a! Der Ed weiß, was er macht. Technisch auf höchstem Niveau umgesetzte Shootings.

Negativ:

- Leider doch teilweise sehr "trashiger" Porn. Ich hätte mir einen stärkeren Fokus auf den weiblichen Fuß gewünscht.

Fazit:

Wer auf dreckigen Porn steht, der kommt auf seine Kosten. Ich möchte keinen falschen Eindruck erwecken, die Bilder sind sehr schön, aber halt nicht das, was ich erwartet habe. Auch der Fußliebhaber bekommt tolle Bilder zu sehen!

Ich würde es mir nicht nochmal kaufen, dennoch 4 Sterne von mir! :)

PS: Die DVD habe ich mir noch nicht angeschaut und kann zu den Inhalten nichts sagen.

Ein sehr gelungenes Buch, welches von der Motivwahl viel Abwechslung bietet. Das Spektrum reicht von sanfter Erotik bis Porno. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super. Ich kann dieses Buch nur weiterempfehlen. Es sollte jedoch nicht in Kinderhände gelangen!

The models are stunning and beautiful. His passions are remarkably displayed on each of his photo. This book edition is novel size (the original is much larger) so it is easy to carry around. In it has a dvd included, a bonus indeed.

It is not often that a book surpasses my expectations, but this one did so by quite a big margin. You really don't have to be a die-hard foot fetisjist in order to like this publication. The photographer has done a magnificent job. Tipically the Taschen publication is flawless in their best tradition with superb high quality glossy printing. The size of the book does justice to the pictures and what came as a real surpise (and this was not mentioned in the discription of the book), there's a DVD inside the back cover. Now let me tell you, that contents of that DVD alone would warrant the purchase of this book. The short movies are extremely well made, and the gorgeous girls/women stand out by their naturel. No artificial pumped up bodies here. The foot is at the centre of the camera, but again, just like the book, this feature is nowhere too overwhelmingly present. There are some highly arousing, quite explicit scenes but the "foot"age never becomes vulgar. I can only highly recommend this publication from start to finish and it therefore gets full marks without any hesitation!
