      I am Using this device as firewall with Sophos UTM. Even Windows 10 was installed for testing before setting up Sophos UTM. Sadly the 3-Pin Fan-Connector for adding a 60mm fan does only work at 100% speed. BIOS doesn't allow to set up temp related fan controll, but you could enter a fixed value - wich doesn't change anything, it still goes 100%.
      I contacted the seller, got a nice detailled answere almost instantly telling my that the device is all out of metal and doesn't need active cooling for it's small 10W CPU. So yeah - it stays FANLESS :-)
      For now i will use it without a fan and point a little usb fan from Arctic (Breeze Mobile) to the fins of the case. I already have such a fan in my enclosure to cool the internet router and move warm air out the ventilation hole. Maybe at some time i add a 60mm fan coupled with a low-noise-adapter into the case.

      The built-in SSD could be a bit faster, but that's expected for this price. Ideal for a small home server. It's nicely built, easily opened and extended with more RAM and an extra SATA + power plug are hanging in there ready for use.

      Ha funzionato per meno di 2 anni, ovviamente sempre acceso e sempre attivo sulla rete, ma all'improvviso si è bloccato fermando la connettività a tutti i dispositivi collegati. Da quel momento non si è più riacceso.
      Essendo ancora in garanzia ho contattato il venditore cinese e devo dire ha risposto rapidamente offrendomi 2 soluzioni che a scopo precauzionale non posso accettare: la prima è di spedire l'apparecchio in Cina a mie spese, la acquistare un nuovo apparecchio (lo stesso) con un rimborso (successivo) di una quarantina di euro.
      Da questa esperienza ho capito che acquistare qualsiasi cosa presso un venditore che non garantisce assistenza in Italia ( sia cinese che di altri luoghi remoti) è fortemente sconsigliato a meno di volerlo considerare sin dal principio usa e getta.
      Ovviamente ho deciso di acquistare un nuovo firewall dotato con un processore di più recente produzione ed affidabilità.
