Lieferung von abends auf nächsten Tag (hatte Schnellversand bei Amazon beantragt). Am nächsten Tag stand tatsächlich die nette, junge Amazone bei uns vor der Tür. Danke dafür an alle Beteiligten!!Das Gerät kam ordentlich verpackt an, eine Installationsanleitung unter anderem auch in Deutsch lag dabei; das ist heutzutage nicht mehr selbstverständlich.Repeater in der Nähe des Routers in die Steckdose gesteckt und per WPS-Taste - die beim neuen Speedport Smart 4 plus nur nicht mehr so heißt, das muss man erstmal wissen - verbunden. Selben Netzwerkschlüssel wie der Router und fertig.Gerät genommen und auf etwa 2/3 .... 1/3 des Weges wieder in eine Steckdose gesteckt. WLan von links unten im Haus nach rechts oben. Läuft 1a.Große Klasse.

Beim Auspacken, in den beiliegenden Installationsanleitungen wird als Weg nur beschrieben, wie man das Gerät über die App oder den Browser einrichtet. Sicher kann man da auch noch viel einstellen.
Ich wollte es aber einfach und schnell, jedoch würde die Variante in den Anleitungen nicht erwähnt.
Einfach eingestöpselt, WPS Button am Router gedrückt und dann die Taste am Repeater. Und schwupps, nach knapp 1 Minute fertig und funktioniert. Die SSID ist die gleiche wie beim Router mit dem Zusatz "_EXT" und das Passwort ist auch automatisch das gleiche wie beim Router 😃

Das ist also auch ein Weg, wer nicht lange rumprobieren will um einfach nur das WLAN zu erweitern.

Ich habe das Kopieren der Einstellungen direkt beim Router gemacht, und dann den Repeater in den Raum gebracht und eingestöpselt, wo das WLAN zu schwach wurde. Klappt wunderbar.

Da unser Router von Tp-Link ist, habe ich mir diesen Extender gekauft,
um alle Geräte zentral über die Tp-Link eigene Tether App konfigurieren
und verwalten zu können.
- Es werden 2,4GHz und 5GHz Netzwerke nach WLAN AC Standard unterstützt.
- Die max. Datentransferrate von 300Mbps auf 2,4GHz + 433Mbs auf 5GHz ist
zwar eher am unteren Ende des Möglichen angesiedelt, wird aber wohl für die
meisten Haushalte und Geräte mehr als ausreichen ;)
- Nettes kleines Gerät, welches einfach in eine Steckdose gesteckt wird.
Die Wärmeentwicklung ist selbst bei Full-Speed und max. Signalstärke minimal,
wird gerademal handwarm.
- Die Konfiguration ist sehr einfach: Nachdem das Gerät hochgefahren ist,
einfach einmal am Router und binnen einer Minute am Extender die WPS-Taste
drücken und schon werden alle WLAN Einstellungen samt Passwort übernommen.
Es kann aber auch alles manuell per Web-Oberfläche oder über die App konfiguriert werden
- Die Signalstärke ist selbst durch Mauern oder Decke ausreichend stark und kann
in der App in 2 weiteren Stufen reduziert werden um die Reichweite einzugrenzen.

Alles in Allem ein günstiges und tolles Gerät um "WLAN tote Winkel" im Haus zu beseitigen.

El repetidor funciona a la perfección.
Lo necesitaba para que llegase bien la señal del Wifi a la habitación de una de mis hijas, puesto que ella vive en la buhardilla (3ª planta) y el router Wifi esta en la primera planta.
He colocado el repetidor en la 2ª planta de la casa y eso hace que la señal llegue en perfectas condciones.
Además tiene otra cosa positiva, puesto que mi segunda hija tenia problemas para conectarse al Wifi del Router con su teléfono móvil, porque el teléfono es un poco antiguo y no reconocia la banda de frecuencias del router. Con el repetidor se puede elegir la banda de frecuencias en la que trabaja y eso permitió que mi segunda hija pueda conectarse a la red de Wifi a través del repetidor.
Por tanto, sirve para dos cosas: para ampliar la señal del router y que llegue más lejos y también para podere conectar aparatos que no reconozcan la banda de Wifi en router modernos.
Además es muy fácil de instalar y mis propias hijas lo pudieron instalar sin ningún tipo de dificultad en muy pocos minutos.
En resumen, un producto muy recomendable, tanto en precio, como en calidad y también en facilidad de instalación.
