- LA2016 is a high-performance logic analyzer with 16 full channels and 200MHz sampling rate.

InnoMaker Logic Analyzer - LA2016
LA2016 is a logic analyzer product with high cost performance. It has 16 input channels and the sample rate is up to 200MHz. Along with the PC software KingstVIS, 16 channels of digital signal could be sampled at the same time, and then they could be converted to digital waveform and displayed on the PC screen. The signal could be analyzed with many standard protocols, to get more straightforward communication data. It helps a lot in testing and analyzing digital system(MCU/ARM/FPGA, etc.), developing and debugging several communication programs, or monitoring and recording some digital signals for a long time.

Das Bild zeigt einen Ausschnitt der USB Kommunikation während der Enumeration. Daneben schaue ich mit dem LA auch auf die SWD Kommunikation bei ARM MCUs. Das ganze funktioniert sehr gut, auch weil ich jeweils Trigger in der SW setze. Die Kanalzahl ist bei hohen Abtastraten reduziert. Das stört mich aber nicht, da ich meist serielle Busse untersuche.
Die mitgelieferten Kabel sind von guter Qualität.Die Kabrl sehr weich und biegsam. Die Software hab ich mir direkt beim Hersteller runtergeladen, da ich kein CD LW mehr besitze. Dort gibts auch ein SDK um eigene Protokol Filter zu erstellen.
Für das Geld eine echte Empfehlung

Für das Geld eine echte Empfehlung
Das Gehäuse ist stabil und zeigt mit einer LED den Betriebszustand an. Das beigelegte USB Kabel ist mindestens 1m lang und von hoher Qualität. Auch die Messkabel (ca. 20 cm lang) sind weich und flexibel und halten zuverlässig.
Die KingstVIS Software (ich benütze die Mac Version) ist stabil, schnell und bietet alle Funktionen die ich brauche. Das einzige Manko ist der erstmalige Verbindungsaufbau: Die Software findet den LA nur nachdem ich alle anderen USB - UART Konverter abstecke. Wenn die Verbindung dann steht, kann ich alles wieder einstecken und es funktioniert tadellos. Zusätzlich kann der Verbindungsaufbau nicht per Menü angestoßen werden, man muss die Software dafür neu starten. Naja, halb so wild und hoffentlich gibt es irgendwann mal ein Update um das zu beheben.
Unterm Strich IMHO sehr gutes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis für einen 16-Kanal LA, vor allem verglichen zu den Saleae Produkten. Und eine starke Verbesserung gegenüber dem kleinen 8-Kanal Billigprodukt.
Die Verarbeitung ist für den Preis wirklich tip top! Beim LA1010 wurden drei Kabelbäume und etliche Klemmen mitgeliefert. Die Kabel sind total weich und fühlen sich viel wertiger als die normalen Breadboard Kabel an.
Das Gerät war direkt einsatzbereit, ohne etwaige Treiberinstallationen. Absolute Empfehlung!
Weiches (gummiartiges) USB und Messkabel, Prüfklemmen geben dem Logic Analyzer ein hochwertiges Gefühl.
Software installiert , Logic Analyzer über das mitgeliefertes USB Kabel am PC angeschlossen, einige Prüfklemmen an den Messkabelenden verbunden, den PWM- Ausgang mit einem Eingang verbunden und in der LA1010 Software den PWM- Ausgang aktiviert: funktioniert.
Die Software ist in englischer Sprache und läßt sich intuitiv bedienen.
Zweiter Test: Messkabel an Arduino 2560 Mega Seriell2 angeschlossen, kleines Programm geschrieben (Textausgabe über Seriell2) und die Daten am Logic Analyzer angesehen: Mittels des Analyzers können die Daten im Hex/ ASCII Format angesehen werden. Passt erstmal für mich.

The other being the LA-5032 using a 24 MHz oscillator for timing vs. a 24 MHz crystal on the LA-5016; the oscillator is more easily replaced with a temperature compensated TXCO if more accuracy is desired.
The LA-5032 also has twice the capture memory of the LA-5016, which is really handy for capturing slow periodic events (like a display refresh).
The hardest part of using the Kingst LA-5032 with Sigrok is not extracting the proprietary firmware from the manufacturer's application, but getting a recent version of Sigrok!
There hasn't been an official release of Sigrok in over 5 years, so all the stock distribution packages are obsolete and don't support any Kingst logic analyzer. I was unsuccessful in trying to build the software myself, so settled for using a pre-built nightly build in AppImage format. Works great!
It does take a while to transfer captures at USB 2.0 speed at higher sample rates. I'm using 64-bit Fedora 40 on an older Intel Celeron J4125 with 8GB memory, and I don't recommend using a Raspberry Pi.
I first tested a known working SPI device and was surprised to learn that the SS to SCLK timings were horrible! I was able to improve them considerably. Without the Kingst LA-5032, I wouldn't have realized how bad the timings were.
