Master Of The Sea ist großes Kino, der Sound ist wuchtig, Keyboards, Chor und Orchester kommen breitflächig daher. Aber das Album klingt auch ungeheuer rockig mit mächtig wummernden Doublebasses und teilweise sogar etwas verspielt mit leicht vertrakten Arrangements und unerwarteten Breaks. Die Melange von Metal und Klassik geht bei MINOTAURO voll auf, Master Of The Sea ließe sich sogar unter der Rubrik Film Score Metal einordnen.

Die Liste der Gastmusiker lässt aufhorchen: der Schwede Göran Edman (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, KARMAKANIC u.a.) schafft sich gesanglich voll rein, Tom Naumann (PRIMAL FEAR, SINNER) und Bor Zuljan (DEVIL DOLL u.a.) sorgen für fette Gitarrenwände. In Szene gesetzt hat das orchestrale Fantasy-Spektakel Achim Koehler, der auch schon für Kollegen wie AMON AMARTH, SODOM oder GODIVA an den Reglern schraubte.

Die CD kommt im Digi mit einem 8-seitigem Booklet.
