I am not sure if it was the particular case I received but I could not even get the second zipper started around my X201 Tablet. And I have the 4-cell battery, had removed the internal buffer provided with the case (to be used with a 4-cell laptop), and had loosened all of the velcro coverings including the big flap which covers/reveals the display.

I knew that even if the X201 tablet did fit that there would still be issues with the alignment of the velcroed coverings for the ventilation port and the power port. The covering for the pen port was not a big issue because the lip of the Targus case could be pulled down sufficiently to get the pen out of the pen garage.

I gave it 5 stars anyway because the manufacturer never claimed that the X201 Tablet would fit. And the case seems well designed and constructed.

The case was well-made and looked durable, but my Lenovo X61 tablet simply would not fit inside without *great* effort (with either of the standard OEM batteries attached to it). I returned it to the vendor for a refund, as I was afraid I would damage my laptop computer if I tried to force it into this case.

I should add that I subsequently purchased another X61 tablet, used, and the seller included with my purchase an original IBM X61 tablet case which did indeed fit both of my X61 tablet PCs with no trouble. Some persons report the reverse problem: that the IBM original case they have is too small for their X61 tablet but that the Targus case fits just fine.

All I can do is report my own experience. Your mileage my vary. :/

I have about 30 X60/X61 Tablets being used by our salespeople. After a so-so experience with the Lenovo-branded tablet sleeves, I figured I would try these instead. So far I like them quite a bit more than the Lenovo bags, but only time will tell. I forgot to show the shoulder strap in the video, but it is pretty much what you would expect.

This was a great case for my x61. The only issue I had with this is the cable ports did not always line up and a pocket for papers would have been nice.
