HDMI with 3D and Audio Return Channel The addition 3D means that the receiver can process 3D video signals. The Audio Return Channel feature allows you to send and receive data via just one HDMI cable, so you can listen to the TV sound via the HDMI cable without additional cable.
High-quality video processing with precise deinterlacing With ordinary de-interlacing, pixels are inserted into motion fields. This creates diagonally running waves. The edge-adaptive de-interlacing detects the direction of these lines and optimally inserts the pixels.

Network Features The RX-V675 supports a range of network features and allows you to access additional sources. You can connect the receiver to your home network to use the internet radio. Thanks to the new AV controller app, you can also control various functions of the receiver with your Apple or Android device. (iPod, iPhone, iPad, Android phones or tablets).
AV controller app for easy, comfortable operation You can download the Yamaha AV controller app from the iTunes App Store or Google Play. This allows you to regulate functions such as power on/off, volume, input source selection, DSP mode and more. The AV controller app is also available for devices based on the Android system. From spring 2013, the app will be available in 23 different languages. In addition, the interface can be customized by the user by moving unused icons and renaming functions. An app for tablets is also available.

The easiest way you can enjoy music from your mobile devices or from your computer via your home theater system. The on-screen display of the AV receiver displays song titles, artists and album art*.

MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) support for video and audio of the highest quality. The RX-V675 supports playback of up to 1080p video and multi-channel audio from MHL-compatible mobile phones and other portable sources. The connection is simple and direct. It also charges the connected device. "Play", "Stop" and basic functions can be controlled by the included remote control.
Digital USB port on the front panel for connecting your iPod, iPhone and iPad with charging function The USB port on the front panel of the receiver allows the connection of your iPod/iPhone/iPad and charges the battery at the same time. Due to the direct transmission of digital signals from the iPod/iPhone/iPad to the AV receiver, no signals are lost and are not affected. The best possible sound reproduction is therefore provided. You can also control the playback functions of iPod/iPhone/iPad via the included remote control of the receiver.

Enlarge Intelligent Amplifier Assignment Intelligent Amp Assign automatically assigns amplifier channels to specific speakers, depending on the selected function. For example: a 7.1 system is installed in the living room and is operated as such. In addition, a second zone is activated for the use of two speakers on the terrace. If the second zone is now switched on, the living room automatically switches to 5.1 operation and the speakers on the terrace are switched on. The same happens with the two Front Presence speakers. When CINEMA DSP 3D is activated, the Front Presence speakers automatically turn on. Thanks to Intelligent Amp Assign, speaker cables on the back of the receiver do not need to be plugged or power amplifiers configured via the menu.

HDMI CEC for easy operation Another advantage of the RX-V675 is the HDMI CEC function. Once the receiver is connected to a CEC compatible TV, it switches on and off together with the TV. In addition, the volume of the receiver can be adjusted with the remote control of the TV. CEC also enables this function with other components. For example, you can use the remote control of the receiver to control typical player functions, such as SKIP and STOP. The prerequisite for this is again the HDMI-CEC compatibility of the connected source.

Connection for a YWA-10 WiFi adapter. This AV receiver has a DC-Out port, so that the WiFi adapter YWA-10 (optional accessory) can be connected to it. This results in a clearer, more concentrated sound space while providing a seamless frequency response. When conventional systems overlap subwoofer frequencies, the overall tone is "shifted" to the subwoofer. Subwoofer Trim addresses this problem by neatly separating the low subwoofer frequencies so that the front room is stabilized while producing a balanced amplified bass sound.
New Virtual CINEMA DSP for 7.1-channel surround sound The new Virtual CINEMA DSP allows you to play virtual 7.1-channel surround sounds from the front speakers alone (2.1 channel) - without the use of additional speakers. For this purpose, the 24kHz HRTF (Head-Related Transfer Function) technology is used, which creates a backward sound field that is extremely wide, natural and powerful.

Selectable auto power down function. Thanks to the auto power down function, you can save energy. You can set the device to automatically turn off after 2, 4, 8 or 12 hours.
Low power consumption in standby mode. Yamaha pays attention to environmentally friendly properties. The RX-V675 has a minimum power consumption of just 0.15W in standby mode. (3W in HDMI standby through mode, 3W in network standby mode).
