WEICON TOOLS Wire Stripper No. 5

The WEICON TOOLS Wire Stripper No. 5 can be used for stripping all common stranded and solid conductors between 0.2 and 6.0 mm². The stripping tool has an automatic scanning system, which determines the cable diameter. This prevents damaging the inner conductor. In addition, the No. 5 offers an adjustable length stop of 5-12 mm. A well-accessible side cutter up to 2 mm Ø is also integrated in the tool.

    Die Zange tut das wofür sie gedacht ist.
    Man kann die Kabel bis zu 12mm abisolieren so das man bequem Aderendhülsen anbringen kann.
    Die Zange schneidet sauber und ordentlich und reißt nichts aus. Es bleiben keine Fransen zurück.

I used it recently on some automotive electrical wiring (approx 16 awg) repairs and was very impressed with the results and ease of use, a real time saver. Not sure how it would work with household wiring. Price is reasonable considering how well it works. I expect it to last a long time.
