Die Lieferung war das Beste, nämlich schnell. Beim auspacken kam dann die Ernüchterung. Die beigefügte Anleitung war nur in Englisch. Ein Versuch über die Homepage des Herstellers eine deutschsprachige zu erhalten, funktionierte auch nicht. Nur ein ähnliches Gerät war dort.
Dann zur Praxis, es sollte Schiffsstahl gemessen werden. Der Hinweis das Kontaktgel benötigt wird, fehlte ganz. Es wurden sodann verschiedene Messungen versucht, alle zeigten Fantasiewerte. Also eingepackt und zurück. Überhaupt nicht zu gebrauchen.

Wer ein einfaches, zuverlässiges Gerät sucht wird nicht enttäuscht. Ich benutze es seit einigen Monaten und komme sehr gut damit zurecht. Die Messung ist präzise, allerdings empfiehlt es sich die Messstellen gründlich zu reinigen, Beschichtungen können zu geringfügigen Abweichungen führen. Entrosteter, unbeschichteter Stahl auf dem der Messkopf vollständig aufliegt wird vollkommen korrekt gemessen, keine Abweichung gegenüber mechanischen Messverfahren. Rohre lassen sich ebenfalls gut beurteilen, ich schätze die Abweichung auf Zehntel.
