At first I didn't think this book was that great. But once our daughter was about two months old and I could really "see" the fussy phases she was going through, it helped so much!!
Every baby goes through "developmental leaps" - when their brain develops, and they learn new skills, and start seeing the world in a new light. Usually just before and during one of these leaps, your baby is a lot fussier than normal, because their whole world is shifting beneath their feet, and it scares them!! What we as adults and parents might just see is a particularly clingy and whiny baby is actually a baby going through one of these phases! Knowing this makes these tough days and weeks SO much more manageable - you know that it has a purpose, and will end! And the best part of all is when you see your baby practice the new skills that they've just developed :)
Would definitely recommend this book for all new parents - has information on the leaps and phases by week, a description of what your baby's going through, how they're developing, and what signs to look out for. Also has great games that you can play with baby to help develop their new skills!

Sehr empfehlenswert!
