2.0 von 5 Sternen Interesting universe, terrible story 9. März 2014

Definitely would not recommend this to anyone. Very juvenile story with little in the way of character development. Reads with all the depth and nuance of a 1980s episode of GI Joe or He-Man. Not to mention wildly unrealistic characters, and an obvious lack of anything even approaching military experience. Nothing even remotely approaching the lovecraftian horror I was hoping to find.
4.0 von 5 Sternen It had much better potential with out such an outlandish primary focus 17. März 2016

Of the three books in this series, I found this one to be a bit too much. I know they are all written to a board game, which is obvious in reading about the characters. but this story line was the weak part of the book. It had much better potential with out such an outlandish primary focus, which I will avoid so as not to ruin the story for anyone who might read it. I do enjoy the genere of Weird War, so even with the above, I still enjoyed it and am happy to have it in my library.
