Each short recipe has an amateur grade photo of the intended dish. They show the reality of how it is going to be your finished dessert. Some look good other look like a quick made photo. But all present the reality of the dish, where honesty is a plus. When you finish your dessert you would not get the feeling that the photo on the book is way better that what you cooked. More the other way around. The recipes are short and practical. In some cases too short but all can be done by an amateur cooker without problem. They are simple and going straight to the important point. The edition of the book is horrendous. It could be a much better looking book or book all together if the edition was a bit more care for. In short: a quick guide to make desserts for those without ideas. Is practical but not the best looking one inside. Content 3.5 stars to 4. Graphical aspect 2.5 to 3 (but has photos in every recipe which is great). Total 3 stars, could have been 4 easily with a little more work from the author/editor/photographer.
