I wrote my first screenplay in 2008, at the age of 52. It was a surprise, yet predicable. In my earliest years of elementary school, composition was my favorite subject. But somewhere between the ages of 10 and 52, I must have felt that writing wasn't a serious or possibly an attainable career.
My writing methodology is unique because I use many of the same skills I used for decades as a software programmer. The stories must be both "logical" and "bug free". Oh, and hopefully, thought-provoking, entertaining, suspenseful, or humorous, often in the same script, with captivating characters and story lines, especially given the complex themes I often take on in my work.
From satire to apocalyptic drama to action to fantasy and romance, I try to write stories that have never been seen before. Commerciality is a consideration, but not the solitary one. Hopefully I'm talking "the next great one", not "the next same one"!
