Kurzbeschreibung

Sextuplets made famous by the very circumstances of their birth, Alena, Brandon, Christa, Daphne, Betts, and Fiona are leaving high school behind them as they face the adventure of adulthood.

When Alena meets Max over summer vacation she is so swept away by how it feels to be seen for herself that she doesn't think much of telling a few untruths to keep Max from knowing who her family is.

Max knows there is something special about Alena from the first moment he sees her. She is the best birthday present he ever imagined. But Max knows how it feels to love someone who lies to you, and that isn't a road he's willing to go down again.

So what will they do when months later Max is assigned as Alena's tutor? If Max is so determined not to trust her, can Alena teach him to trust in second chances?

5.0 von 5 Sternen Sometimes I Think of You 26. Juli 2014

This was an interesting premise- The Alphabet babies are 5 girl 1 boy sextuplets and they have one younger brother. This is the story of Alena the first born sextuplet. She craves some individuality from the siblings she loves so much. They are off to college and starting to grow up. This had a bit of suspense and romance I will be looking for more from this author especially about the other kids.

Before I read Sometimes I Think of You my favorite TJ Dell book was Her Best Friend's Brother. But I think this one is even better. The characters and situations are realistic and I found myself wishing I knew more about the other siblings. I am so curious about Fiona and Owen! I've already read this twice and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

5.0 von 5 Sternen GREAT BOOK 6. Juni 2014
Von Kelly Conroy Haynes - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
It seems as though college is the passage to adulthood, and Alaina is one of sextuplets bound to make it on her own terms, away from her "womb-mates". Its a great story about the sibling bound, heartache and new love. Great, great read.

I enjoyed this book. Alena is part of a family in which she is a sextuplet. Alena and Max meet during a vacation. Alena and Max instantly like each other, but Max finds out that she isn't as truthful as he thought. It was one of those mix up things, but she didn't solve the misunderstanding. She just went with it knowing she was wrong. Alena is wanting to break away from the fame of being a sextuplet. She ends up going to a different college than her sisters, and guess who else goes to that college? Their relationship is nonexistent throughout much of the book. She is trying to win his trust. He is having trouble giving her that trust. We only goer Alena's point of view. No cliffhanger, but you know there will be other books about this family.

This was a great read, it's a story of a girl trying to find herself in a family of seven kids and being on of the alphabet kids has left her wanting something more. She never has time to her self and feels no one sees her for who she really is. So when she meets a boy on the beach and he doesn't seem to know who she I and she feels this connection him him she has never felt with anyone else, she can't seem to correct him on his assumptions or share him with her family for fear he would see her differently.
