When Alena meets Max over summer vacation she is so swept away by how it feels to be seen for herself that she doesn't think much of telling a few untruths to keep Max from knowing who her family is.
Max knows there is something special about Alena from the first moment he sees her. She is the best birthday present he ever imagined. But Max knows how it feels to love someone who lies to you, and that isn't a road he's willing to go down again.
So what will they do when months later Max is assigned as Alena's tutor? If Max is so determined not to trust her, can Alena teach him to trust in second chances?
