ブランド、動作信頼性、コストパフォーマンスを比較検討して選びました。MacBook Pro (Late2013)にて使用しています。
なお、MacBook Air と Mac mini でも問題なく認識できました。

用途は MacBook Proでの DiskWarrior 5 の緊急ディスクです。
本当は2GBもあれば十分なのですが、今買おうとしても割高になってしまうのでこの8GBにしました。

速度はUSB2.0として並ですし満足しています。強いて言えば、とても小さいので無くさないような工夫（目立つストラップ、置き場所の決定等）をした方が良いでしょう。

シリコンパワーはふ本体はしっかりしている。

小さい本体に数珠のようなくさりを購入者が輪状に取り付けなければならないのが、大変だった。

USB挿入口を保護するキャップ・カバーの類は同梱されていないので
持ち運び時の露出には要注意。

また、添付のボールチェーンだが嵌合部に巨大なバリと整形不良が有り
使用することが出来ず廃キーホルダーより転用した。
もっともこれは個体差なのでUSBメモリ本体としての機能を
いささかも損なっている訳ではない点に注意。
──心象的には付属品の品質も考慮したいのだが。

USB2.0メモリスティックとしては読み/書きともに標準的な速度。
USB対応の車載カーナビ外部メモリやノートPCの補助メモリなどに運用しても
充分に機能してくれる程度には優秀。
なお、ストラップとして金属チェーンはUSB接続部周辺のダメージが懸念されるため
携帯電話のストラップのような糸・紐材を用いた製品を使用した方が好ましい。
本体があまりにも小さいので「摘んで外す」が困難になることもしばしば。
