This was not my first choice of book, relating to a very American theme but it is a good read. Kate White does not preach or sound like she is showing off and while her advice is not new, it is timely and well written. Certainly it makes you want to read her novels and research her life as editor. She comes across as a great leader and down to earth. The tips and tricks are worth re-reading and debating with a coach or partner. I would have preferred some more references to being socially intelligent and a wider cross section of leadership examples, hence giving it only four not five stars. However, when read with other similar books like Lean In, it adds yet another dimension to the theme of women in leadership. Well worth investing the time to absorb this excellent book.
