Her novel Seduction and Snacks won first place in the Indie Romance Convention Reader’s Choice Awards 2013 for Best Indie First Book.
In her spare time, Tara loves to dream about all of the baking she’ll do and naps she’ll take when she ever gets spare time.

I am a sucker for long lost loves, but I adore that this was a sort of he-waited-and-followed-her kind of love. Kennedy is not heart broken over her divorced, you get more of a feeling she is embarrassed and disappointed. Griffin was her best friend, and sort of the 3rd wheel of her and her ex since high school.
The have a long history. Come to find out ... he always loved her.
I loved the side action of this book. It was funny and while dangerous, it was exciting.
I also of course loved the best friends. I loved how they were different and awesome.
My only reason for 4 stars was the kids. She is divorced and her ex is not very involved and while her bounty hunting is awesome - where were they besides just a few funnies about their clothes and interests. 1am at the office?
Moving on to the next book and friend!
I was pleased with seeing another type of book from this author. Aside from the series I mentioned above, I've also read Watch Over Me, which was a very emotional and serious novel. From that, I knew Sivec had the ability to write in many different genres and could write very different stories. Shame on You branches off into yet another direction. Kennedy O'Brien is a sexy, snarky, and stubborn ex-Army turned bounty hunter who won't take crap from anyone. Then there's Griffin, one of her best friends, though recently he's on her s*** list, and their lives are thrown together again.
That's only part of the conflict in this book. There's also a bail jumper to catch. From the little we get to encounter McFadden, he's a great character for was ways he can slip through Kennedy's fingers. He's just one of the cast of characters this book has to offer.
I was a little curious about Sivec being able to get a great story in the 140ish pages, but it turned out to not be an issue. This book might be short, but it's a fast-paced ride that packs a punch all over. It was hard to put down. I was a little disappointed that it ended, but not by how it ended. Sivec grabbed me early on and I know I'll be a fan of this three-book series just from reading Shame on You. I'm looking forward to seeing what Shame On Me (Fool Me Once) has in store, in May.
