They are highly trained. Their missions are classified. They are our best and last hope. Yet they do not exist. Follow SEAL Team Six as they train, hunt and fight an enemy who reaches out from the most remote corners of the world to murder and maim. These highly-trained, military men are the unknown heroes who endure unimaginable hardship and murderous combat to protect our homeland.

In SEAL Team Six: The Novel, a mass shooting at a California big box store begins a new round of murder from an unknown source. America is suffering a virus of homegrown terror as one-man cells are inspired by a new kind of terrorist who speaks to them through websites, tweets and emails. These lone wolves get their orders and directions on how to carry them out from a man known only as Young El. His identity and face aren't known. Counter-intelligence agencies in the West have only the voice on his podcasts to identify him. The super-secret group often know as SEAL Team Six is the point of the spear to find, and eliminate, this new source of murder and suffering. Their hunt takes them from their base in the USA to a deadly labyrinth in the Phillipines and, finally, a terror stronghold deep in the jungles of Borneo. You'll train with these men, fight alongside them and share their danger and losses. America's gunfighters take the battle to the home turf of terror no matter where on the planet it hides.

“This is straight up, unapologetic military action set against the fast-changing background of the war on terror,” says New York Times Bestselling writer Chuck Dixon. “There's no mercy and no rules as the world's toughest warriors face the world's most murderous outlaws. If you're tired of heroes who pull their punches and question their own motives and missions this one's for you. These are true American super-heroes fighting in the worst places in the world to ensure our safety.”

"Chuck is a damn good writer who is really good at hooking you, giving you fun characters, and telling you one hell of an adventure story."
-- Larry Correia, Monster Hunters International, the Grimoir Chronicles

"An intelligent and well thought-out high action time travel story."
-- Noah Mullette-Gillman, Luminous and Ominous

"Dixon excels at putting down action, of introducing larger-than-life heroes, kicking them through the door into a big mess, and having them sort out a situation in a flurry of martial arts moves and big guns."
-- Mel Odom, The Rover series.

Prologue from Dynamite's New eBook: SEAL TEAM SIX NO MORE: REKINDLED FLAME:

Darkness surrounded Flame as he crouched with the front of his left shoulder just touching a wall of some kind, the familiar shape of an M4 cradled in his arms. Where the hell am I? he asked himself. What am I supposed to do?

He shook his head—felt a familiar weight on it. Night vision! He fumbled for the boxy system, and pulled it down in front of his eyes. Now where’s that switch…?

Something clicked under his questing fingers and everything changed. I’m in a big room of some kind. Flame studied the green-tinged one-dimensional reality that spread around him. Boxes and crates everywhere. He tapped the huge crate he’d thought was a wall.

2.0 von 5 Sternen Not a bad read, but factually inaccurate 13. Februar 2012

First of all, let me say that for a $0.99 Kindle book, it isn't a bad deal. That being said, if you're looking for Tom Clancey, Brad Thor, or Vince Flynn realism and factually accurate storytelling, this isn't the book for.you. The author does a decent job with forming a picture in your mind with his words. What is lacking though is reality. I know its a work of fiction, but to be honest, this fiction goes a little to the extreme. The SEALs are depicted as bloodthirsty warriors who have no regard for the military rules which govern them. The story shows men with a blatant disregard for human life, going as far as walking by enemy combatants who have been shot and injured and double tapping them in the head. That, in and withof itself, is a blatant disregard for Geneva Convention rules. Does that kind of thing happen? Quite possibly, but more than likely not. Why kill them when they can be debriefed for Intel. Some of the authors information regarding our current military is grossly inaccurate. The book states that a couple of the SEALs are stationed on the USS Lexington, an aircraft carrier. The Lexington was an Essex class aircraft carrier that was decommisioned in 1991 and is currently a floating museum in Corpus Christi, TX. For a book that supposedly starts with the killing of Osama Bin Laden, this fact can not be overlooked. Another factual error is that SEAL Team Six, or DEVGRU, has a great number of E-2 and E-3's serving on the team as operators. Wrong. At the very least they would be E-4 Third Class Petty Officers. More factual errors regarding DEVGRU is that the men are tasked to DEVGRU immediately after completing BUD/S. Wrong once again. DEVGRU is manned by the best of the best from other SEAL teams and there is a rigorous selection process that the men have to go through to even get selected to the team. They are voted into the team by their peers within DEVGRU. The author would know this if he had done a little research on the subject or at the very least read Howard Wasdin's book, SEAL Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy Sniper. Another factual error that I noticed, or it could be a misspelling (but misspelled every single time???) Is that he calls the USAF Base in Aviano, Italy, Ariano. This is once again an egregious error by the author. Granted this is fiction, but it is based in reality. I really hope that the author does his research before he starts on book number two in the series.

There are a great number of grammatical errors throughout the book. There are also quite a few spelling errors. A good proof reading is in order before he publishes his second book as well. Action wise I give the book a B-. Factually though the book is an F or a solid D-. Read at your own risk.
5.0 von 5 Sternen Seal Team Six and one good story 14. Juli 2014

First six book I've read. Liked it.

This one starts with the killing of UBM. We finally got our man. Kudo's to the team who got him.

We then shoot to an idiot in a grocery store. An idiot who thinks he's a Muslim and starts shooting people in the store. He's hauled down by three marines who beat the everluvin crap out of him before the police get on site.

Waylon Griggs and his protege Dana see a pattern happening all over America. It starts with a couple of websites run by a guy name Young-El. A guy no one has a location on. These websites seem to be drawing the disenfranchised. Folks who begin to kill other Americans in the name of Allah.

Seal Team Six is gets the call when a super hacker finally gets a bead on Young-el. The guys in the jungle in Malaysia. Time for Six to get him.

So begins one damned fine read.

This one has Heath, Manny, Re-Pete, Chili, Flame, Pig, a CIA agent Blair Freeman who wants to be a hero and could care less how much blood is shed to achieve his goal, Malaysian jihadists, a camp in the jungle, the monsoon rains and one damned fine read.

It's a fascinating story but it is poorly written, and that gets in the way so often that it makes working through the book drudgery at times. That being said, there are points when the author(s) are describing action and emotions during operations that are the stuff of great thrillers. And it's taken from actual events, which heightens the suspense and visceral reactions to the narrative all the more. Overall, this is a worthwhile read. I only wish Howard had found a more capable author (and/or editor).

Enjoyed this book very much. The constant torchure of vigorous training day and day out, year after year amazes me. (Reminds of my own Boot Camp in the Navy, WWII) I thought it was gruesome and unnecessary pain. It takes a rare breed of a man who can withstand such rigorous torture and keep coming back.

I enjoyed this book. The subject was something I enjoyed reading about. I could not help but be glad of ridding the world of such a no good, evil man who had no compunction about killing innocent people in the name of his religion. I am really glad he has been eliminated. I feel Seal Team Six, this particular group did a wonderful job.

I did not think the writing was especially good. However, I always like reading about people's experiences in action and with great valor and curage. This I guess is a "guy thing" so maybe, I cannot be too objective.

I never the less liked it very much.
