This is a timely report which I was able to read on my kindle prior to publication of the hard copy. The Rigging of a Vatican Synod is a thorough treatment of persons and events related to the recent synod. The report was delivered approximately as events happened. Mr. Pentin has an engaging style and his report was hard to put down. The Rigging of a Vatican Synod will remain an important historical document describing the manipulation and behind-the-scene shenanigans by individuals who were involved with the recent synod. This is an interesting and helpful read for persons concerned with what is at stake for Catholics and the world.

A well-written and balanced account of what transpired at the 2014 extraordinary synod on the family as reported by participants and those close to them, this book substantially explains the muddle that is Christianity in Western Europe today. Obviously,the so-called progressives, who appear to dominate the Western European episcopacies, no longer believe in God as he has revealed himself to us. Instead, they believe in a god who is a creature of their own confused intellect -- a god that they, like the false prophets of old, can make to do and say whatever they want him to do and say. Rather than discern and follow the spirit of the one true God, they prefer to discern and follow the "spirit of the times". No longer believing in Christ and his redemptive work, they tell us that his call to take up our cross and follow him if we want to be his disciples is not meant for the average Christian -- this at a time when thousands of Christians are being butchered or confined in prison for their faith, many of them willingly giving up their lives instead of renouncing their faith. Thank you Edward Pentin for shining light on this sordid affair.
