This is one of the most in depth and amazing books I’ve ever purchased. I’m not normally one to buy game guides but with a game of this magnitude it only seemed right. Filled with details on every mission, horse and object, you HAVE to get this guide if you are in anyway a hardcore fan!!

Six words that make me cover my eyes when watching people playing RDR2 on Twitch or Mixer. What are those 6 words? Here they are.... "I don't know what I'm doing" Yep....people say that because they are taking far too much time talking nonsense to a webcam than planning ahead. Yes...game guides... strategy books....whatever you want to call them can be expensive. Especially when they are seen as a throw away item or just a massive additional cost to a game. I rarely buy the guides. BUT... This book is worth it... Darn worth it in fact. It contains the FULL map, with ALL of the hidden places for items you won't know exist in the game. All those YouTubers with their videos on how to find such and such...and so on. How did they know about those secrets? Well *clears throat* they bought this book...and proceeded to make money from videos. Among many other routes. It's extended my playthings of the game, broken down all of the missions, chapters, back story, weapons, side missions, special items to find and collect and many more. The hardback is worth getting I can assure you. Worth every penny because in years to come, this book will not only increase in value if looked after. But people will be talking about RDR2 for years to come and will be wanting this book when it becomes unavailable to buy or goes out of print. Is the book worth your money? Yes....yes it is. Get it now while you still can. And you will help Arthur Morgan live longer and keep John Marston from financial ruin.

Bought this with the game on release and was hoping for an accompaniment guide. Instead what I got is a spoiler laced book explaining the details of every mission, pointless. Even the page dedicated to weapons is FILLED with end game spoilers. Now I have finished the game I am finding it useful, anyon considering buying this do so after completion

It hasn't given any insight that YouTube walkthroughs won't be doing in the next few weeks but until then...I got it for the sake of collection but in flipping through to admire it I found myself referencing it often for little extras on missions and such, it's got everything you could need to know as of release state, not to say the game won't change in the future leaving some parts invalid but as of right now there's no more a complete guide than this one.

A solid book packed with details from collectibles, story missions, side missions and everything inbetween.
There are a few gripes with it though -
1) On some pages, the maps can be really difficult to read and pinpoint exact locations, just due to the size of the game map in relation to the book page, i've invested in a cheap magnifying glass to aid with those bits!
2) It doesn't contain exactly 100% of everything in the game. Rockstar's games usually are LOADED with secret things to see and discover and there are some omissions from the book.
3) There are a couple of misprints but that's just nitpicking.
Awesome book on the whole and essential for completionists.
