Das Qpad QH-85 wurde von mir, aufgrund zahlreicher Empfehlungen aus dem Freundeskreis erworben.

Ich nutze das Gaming Headset in Verbindung mit einer XBox One.
Das Gesamtpaket überzeugt in erster Linie durch sehr hohen Tragekomfort und exzellentem Klang.
Es klingt sehr harmonisch, der Bass ist pegelfest und sauber. Beides wichtig für einen stimmiges Ergebnis. In Filmsequenzen merkt man, der Sound ist sehr klar und die Stimmen wirken authentisch.
Das Hörmuscheln sind geschlossen und bieten eine gute Geräuschabschirmung.
Auch nach langem tragen schmerzen die Ohren nicht.

Das Mikrofon tut was es soll und lässt sich individuell hinbiegen bis keiner mehr über „Schnaufgeräusche“ schimpft.;-)

Das Kabel ist ausreichend lang und wirkt stabil.
Leider hab ich nach nun 2 Jahren einen Wackelkontakt auf der linken Seite,welcher aber auch etwas den Emotionen im Spiel geschuldet ist.;)
Abgesehen davon gebe ich eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Super Sound, Super Verarbeitung, sehr schlechtes Kabel

Habe mir vor kurzem das QPad QH-85 zugelegt und bereue diese Entscheidung nicht. Klanglich ist es definitiv eines der besten Headsets, die man für Geld kaufen kann. Auch die Verarbeitungsqualität ist sehr gut und das Headset macht einen wertigen Eindruck. ABER: Die Kabelkonstruktion, bestehend aus einem sehr kurzen, fest angebundenem Kabel, dann die Fernbedienung mit einem kurzen Kabel und dann noch ein ca. 2m langes Verlängerungskabel ist eine Katastrophe. Die Kabel wirken sehr billig und das hat sich beim ersten Test bestätigt. Das Mikrofon hatte beim ersten Test ein sehr unangenehmes Brummen im Hintergrund. Ich hatte schon vermutet, dass es an den Kabeln liegt und auf diesen Verdacht hin das Headset direkt ohne jegliche Verlängerungen oder Fernbedienungen in meine Soundkarte gesteckt und mich direkt neben meinen Rechner gehockt (ca. 1m Kabellänge) und siehe da: Das Brummen ist Verschwunden. Habe dann das Headset reklamiert und innerhalb von 2 Tagen Ersatz bekommen. Habe dann das neue Headset, mit dem neuen Verlängerungskabel angeschlossen und das Brummen war wieder da. Gefrustet habe ich mir dann zwei 3.5mm Klinken-Verlängerungskabel bestellt und das QPad-Verlängerungskabel entsorgt. Seit dem betreibe ich das Headset ohne Probleme und genieße den tollen Klang.
Bitte QPad, verwendet andere Kabel und lasst den Quatsch mit Verlängerungen und Fernbedienung, dann gibt es auch das nächste mal 5 Sterne.
An alle mit ähnlichen Problemen: bestellt einfach zwei Klinken-Verlängerungskabel und ihr werdet glücklich, auch wenn das sicher nicht die Intention des Herstellers ist...

Guter Sound und Tragekomfort - Langlebigkeit gleich Null

Nach anfänglicher Euphorie kommt nun doch nach und nach die Enttäuschung. Nach gut 8 Monaten hat das Kabel einen Wackelkontakt kurz vorm Klinkenstecker. Gut... dachte ich mir.... Bissi Gummiband drum, dann passt das schon. Wirst wohl falsch damit umgegangen sein... Nun löst sich aber das ganze Headset auf. Erst fing an der Schaumstoff vom Mikrofon kleine schwarze Reste abzuwerfen. Einfach nur vom rumliegen. Man merkt förmlich wie porös es geworden ist, wenn man es anfässt. (nein es liegt nicht in der Sonne) Gestern Abend habe ich nun festgestellt, dass sich auch der Rest auflöst (Siehe Foto) gleiches tritt auch an den Ohrmuscheln auf, so dass man nach jedem mal Zocken erst einmal kontrollieren muss ob man nicht doch noch etwas Kunstleder am Ohr zu kleben hat.
Echt mega schade, ich hab das Teil geliebt aber von QPAD wirds wohl keins mehr werden.

Gute Audioqualität, schlechter PC-Anschluss

Wie sich das Gesamturteil zusammensetzt:

- Audioqualität der Kopfhörer für den Preis: 5 Sterne

Ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden mit der Audioqualität. Hatte vorher ein Sennheiser Headset für 70€, was in dem Bereich bei weitem nicht so überzeugt hat.

- Tragekomfort Kopfhörer: 5 Sterne

Selbst nach mehreren Stunden tragen empfinde ich das Headset weder als zu schwer noch als zu unbequem. Der Bügel lässt sich leicht in der Größe verstellen und liegt sehr weich auf dem Kopf auf. Die Ohren werden umschlossen, wodurch kein Druck auf ihnen erzeugt wird. Die Ohren werden mir anders als bei einem Wireless AKG Kopfhörer, den ich besitze, nicht zu heiß. Der Ohrmuschelstoff ist sehr dick und weich.

- Mikroqualität: 4 Sterne

Grundsätzlich ist Mikro wirklich gut. Kein Rauschen und sehr gute Tonqualität (getestet vor allem mit TeamSpeak und guten Audiocodecs). Allerdings sollte man die Entfernung zum Mund nicht stark variieren, da die Lautstärke ansonsten sehr leicht schwankt. Deshalb gibt es einen Stern Abzug.

- Haptik Mikrofon: 2 Sterne

Das Mikro hat am Ende, wo die Membran sitzt, die Tendenz sich umzudrehen und vom Mund wegzuzeigen, wenn man es mal kurz z.B. für einen Happen Essen zur Seite klappt. Deshalb muss man sich angewöhnen, jedes Mal die etwas längere und kürzere Seite des Mikros unter der Schaumabdeckung zu ertasten und das Mikro wieder korrekt einzustellen. Irgendwann hat man darin Routine und man macht es unterbewusst, trotzdem habe ich mich gerade in den ersten Monaten tierisch darüber aufgeregt. Warum es sich trotzdem auf zwei Sterne gerettet hat: Das Mikro lässt sich für den Transport komplett abnehmen, was ich sehr angenehm finde.

- Anschluss an den PC: 1 Stern

Die mitgelieferte Lautstärkenregelung, die zwischen das Verlängerungskabel und einem recht kurzen Kabel am Headset selbst kommt, ist Elektroschrott. Anders kann man es nicht bezeichnen. Schon leichte Bewegungen führen zu Knacken und Rauschen. Muss man also weglassen. Wenn man das Verlängerungskabel direkt an das Headset anschließt, hat man das Problem allerdings in abgeschwächter Form weiterhin und es lässt sich auch kaum vermeiden. Durch das kurze Kabel am Headset liegt der Verlängerungsanschluss bei mir in der Regel in der Nähe der Tastatur. Wenn man durch verschieben der Tastatur oder seiner Sitzposition jetzt mit der Hand auf diesen Anschluss kommt, hat man ebenfalls Knacken und Rauschen in der Leistung. Das ist gerade bei Voice Activation sehr ärgerlich.

- Verarbeitungsqualität: 4 Sterne

Der Ohrmuschelstoff zeigt nach 3 Jahren Verwendung die üblichen Gebrauchsspuren (wird langsam von schwarz eher grau). Leider löst sich seit einigen Monaten das Leder am Bügel des Kopfhörers auf. Das sieht ziemlich schäbig aus. Technisch ist das Headset allerdings nach vollkommen in Ordnung. Insbesondere habe ich noch keinen Kabelbruch, was mir bei meinen alten Sennheiser Headsets immer zum Verhängnis geworden ist. Man muss dazu sagen, dass das Headset mehrmals mit im Urlaub war, allerdings nie wirklich heruntergefallen oder ähnliches ist.

Ingesamt würde ich eigentlich gerne 3 1/2 Sterne vergeben. Das Herumgeärgere mit dem Mikro und dem PC-Anschluss machen aus einem wirklich guten Headset leider eine teilweise frustrierende Erfahrung. Ich persönlich hätte lieber noch 20€ mehr bezahlt und in diesen Bereichen eine bessere Qualität gehabt. Schade!

Not quite the quality I was expecting from QPAD. As this model now seems to be the flagship of the company, after it's big brother the 1339 seems to have ceased production, I was dissapointed. I can only hope that they are developing a new version and ironing out the recurring microphone issues with the 1339. If you are lucky enough to find some, they are far superior to these QH90s and well worth the extra cost. Although, having said that if you're budget allows, then the Sennheiser GSP 600 is a worthy adversary. I got the Sennheiser and returned these and I am NOT dissapointed.

I bought this headset for use with voice control on certain games. I researched the purchase quite a bit and was initially interested in the various headsets available with integrated surround sound. But then I realised it would be better to buy a straightforward stereo headset for the same money and let my soundcard deal with the surround processing.

I came across several glowing reviews of the QH-90 and as it seemed to combine decent build quality with good sound, I decided to give it a go. I haven't been disappointed. You could summarise the QH-90 as 'a class act'. From the impressive, slick packaging to the high build quality of the headset itself, this is a product which oozes customer satisfaction.

Sound quality is very good. It doesn't really compete with my Sennheiser HD 565s for musical accuracy or soundstage but it makes up for it with good suppression of external noise and a meaty, yet controlled, bass. The QH-90s are great for games but I'm quite happy to listen to music through them as well. They're comfortable to wear for extended periods too. The microphone is crystal clear.

If you're in the market for a decent PC headset, I'm sure you won't be disappointed with the QH-90.

I found out about this headset after borrowing a pair on a video shoot, my old headphones had got broken in transit. I liked the headset so much I purchased them the following day. I'm using these as headphones for monitoring sound on video shoots and in the editing process. They do a good job of closing out the background noises such as actors going over their lines with the director etc. The sound quality is fine for what I need, music is a tad bass heavy but that can be tweaked with EQ. I wear these headphones for hours at a time and find them to be really comfortable. They also seem to be study and well built so should last quite a while. The included extension leads have come in useful for when I'm playing guitar and working out songs, it just gives me a little bit more freedom to sit, stand and move around to help stop fatigue setting in whilst playing.

My 14 year old son has started to use the headset for online gaming with is fiends, he now hardly ever uses his own very blingy headset, so they must be fine.

I had bought a set of Razer Krakan 7.1 Chroma headphone originally and the sound quality was good, however they failed in just about every other way, so I returned them. Then on a recommendation from a friend bought these (he had the open ear pair).

Even the box was quality and the small bag to keep them in.

Sound is crisp and clear, exceptionally comfortable, they don't grip my head like a vice instead they sit on it. Plenty of cable to reach the back of the PC (DO NOT use the front ports sound is ok but mic quality though them is awful.)

The open cup design allows you to hear your surroundings clearly, it is one of the few headsets which are actually advertised as open cup.
The sound quality is good on both the cups and the microphone.
The ear pads are large and soft, which is excellent for extended use, the headband is also nice and soft.
The construction of the headband is durable.
The weight of the headset is a good middle ground.

It comes fitted with a short 1m cable which is ideal for laptop use.
However there and three additional cable extensions:
A plain 2m extension cable.
A 1m extension which has an inline "control box", giving analogue volume control, a microphone mute switch, and a button which can pause/play/answer-calls on mobile phones.
A 0.1m standard 4-conducter 3.5mm jack (TRRS) mobile phone adapter.

The microphone is detachable and there is a little rubber plug to keep the socket clean when the microphone is not in use. This is one of those little attention to detail points which is really nice.

Overall: An excellent buy, I certainly got more than I was expecting with this product. :D
