5.0 von 5 Sternen Best Coaching Book I have read 28. September 2007
Von Kevin McClintock - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
I have been reading many coaching books since this is my first year coaching. I have completed the NSCAA Advanced Regional Diploma and the USSF E license. The Instructors in My E License Course were in Love with the Dutch Style and were preaching it. It was funny because one of the students from Latin American turned to me and asked why was the instructor so obsessed with the Dutch Style. I have attended a Coaching Symposium that DC United hosted with the coaches from the Youth Academy of the Brazilian Minas Gerais team Clube Atletico Mineiro and learned some good drills to use with my youth team. This book is trying to teach some of the Brazilian training philosophy to American coaches. I realize that most of the American kids are not brought up with the Brazilian culture, but the Brazilian style of Football is the most attractive and I think that the American Coaching Culture needs to try to adopt it and try to encourage the Brazilian flair in our Young players. I think this book is a step in the right direction. It would be a good book to read before each season because I think multiple readings of the book will help the philosophy sink in and help give a Youth Coach good ideas to use in training his or her players.
5.0 von 5 Sternen read the first 30 pages and realized it is one of the best books for American soccer coaches to read 1. Juni 2015

I received it, read the first 30 pages and realized it is one of the best books for American soccer coaches to read. I am not a soccer player, I am not a fan of Brazilian soccer, I am a fan of this book. Reading this book you realize that overall it does represent where american soccer and development need to proceed. I am a fan of German and Dutch styles of play but this book does represent what American youth soccer development is missing. If you watch American college soccer you see where this style of play would benefit our game. Exclude the references to higher powers and you have one of the best soccer books written.
5.0 von 5 Sternen Club uses this book as basis for development, have obatined great success. 20. August 2014

I am a coach of a BU13 team currently. The club that I coach with has incorporated the Brazilian Principles and all of our coaches (or educators as we call them) are certified through BFUT (http://www.bfut.net/) This book is fantastic and Thadeu's understanding of the game and the methodology presented for the development of soccer players is incredible. Last weekend I just got back from our club's Summer Camp that Thadeu attends every year. The man is a tremendous person and his methodology creates incredible soccer players. A must for any coach who wants to create the best possible players.

Von Tomasz Wilczak - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com

I bought the book and I'm glad that I got it. It describes very interesting approach on how to train youngsters the greatest sport on earth.
Philosophy that teaches the importance of aspects like; team work, God, thinking, enjoyment of the game.
Introduces basic approach for the first time coaches on how to prepare for the job as a coach. Main topics: team's organizer, conditioning, technical, tactical foundation.
It's helping me so it'll do same to you.

P.S. I'm a coach with the UEFA B license. I was given a job as a coach of U15 and the book plays a role as the core of my preparation for pre-season and then season as well as foundation of the my philosophy.
