5.0 von 5 Sternen Cute, colorful, and entertaining 24. Oktober 2007
Von Jan's Info - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Gebundene Ausgabe
I bought this book a few weeks ago and my kids already know it by heart! Is there any such thing as too much pink? Pinkalicious loves pink. She especially loves yummy cupcakes with pink frosting. But, when she eats too many of them, she turns pink and comes down with a horrible case of pinkititis !!!! The doctor says the cure is to stop eating pink and to eat a steady diet of green foods. Can Pinkalicious resist the pink cupcakes sitting on the refrigerator? You must read Pinaklicious to fint it out. The words are pinkticious-delicious and the pictures are pinkorgeous-gorgeous. In between the whole fun there also is useful message about proper nutrition and the merits of a balanced diet. I also recommend a series of fun-filled books with great educational values titled Why Some Cats are Rascals

1.0 von 5 Sternen Pinkalicious is a brat! 24. März 2010
Von Amazon Customer - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com

I agree with the other 1-star reviewers. This book does nothing but teach bad manners, disrespect toward parents, and picky eating habits. I'm glad I read it myself before reading it to my daughters. I'm returning it.

1.0 von 5 Sternen Terrible message for children 30. September 2008
Von Alli C. - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Gebundene Ausgabe
I almost bought this book from a Scholastic order through my daughter's school b/c she LOVES pink, however another mom and I were talking and she warned me about this book, stating she had ordered it and was appalled by its content. I marked it off my order and instead looked through it at the bookstore and boy was I glad I didn't order it. The other 1 star reviews are ALL absolutely right about this book. This book is just full of bad messages for children. I am all for fun, silly books for children, but I didn't find this book to be either of those, more of a "how-to" book on bad behavior, bad eating habits, disrespecting your parents and being a brat!!!

1.0 von 5 Sternen Could have been good with some editing 14. Oktober 2007
Von bargainhunter - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Gebundene Ausgabe
Honestly, this book could have been cute. What's with trying to shove it down a kids throat that vegetables are gross? Mine eats them all the time with no problems (she's 4) and I don't want some book telling her about "gagging" and "choking down" vegetables. In one of the pictures Pinkalicious is sticking out her tongue at her monther - great manners (insert sarcasm here). I guess I just expected something cute and a sweet story...this was not it. This is about greed, disobeying your parents and overindulgence.

1.0 von 5 Sternen I agree - Bad examples for kids 15. Oktober 2008
Von Fireflies - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Gebundene Ausgabe
I agree with many of the other reviewers here. I LOVE the illustrations and the story idea is so cute! (we love pink) BUT... there is too much bad behavior in this book. We all know how much little ones like to replicate. Unfortunately, this book gives a lot of bad ideas for kids to copy. Sticking tongue out at Mommy, climbing furniture, being rude and the worst to me was talking about veggies in a negative manner. My girls love veggies! I don't want them to get the idea that veggies are gross!

It is unfortunate the bad behavior is in this book because I really like the "idea" and the illustrations.
