Do not be impressed by the 'French recipes' thing, they are traditional recipes of the regular people to make with few ingredients and not for that reason they don't stop being delicious.

The reader will wonder why there are so few recipes. The truth is that the original recipe book had about thirty or so entries. It is for two reasons. One, that I wanted to collect only the easiest recipes that could be made more often; and the another reason is more significant: I haven't attempted to bake them all!
